Trying to check my Volks account today but every time I try to open the site it comes up as "untrusted connection" and doesn't open the site... it's been like it all day. Anyone else having an issue?

Yeah, me too. It's really suspicious because they're using an expired security certificate, but the cert expired Dec 28 last year! So it's changed from the one they were using on Friday, which obviously wasn't expired. I wouldn't use the site until they get it cleared up, there's a chance their site may have been compromised...

I thought it was strange, glad it's not just me though. Makes me glad I opted to use my paypal for my transaction.

to me it doesn't matter because transaction is through a valid SSL connection via nicos.

I saw the certificate warning too, but I also had issues with the site not loading its CSS file properly. At least the results aren't delayed too much.

I emailed them about the error, and a bit of time afterwards they turned off SSL I don't think it was on before either. There's a thing that now states,

 

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused by our system error that happened at the afternoon on January 18th (Saturday).

 

Now, the problem has been solved, please feel free to access to our website.

 

However, the lottery application deadline for the limited items released on the Dolls Party 30 After Event, which is at 10:00 on January 20th (Monday), will be extended to 24:00 on January 21th (Tuesday).

The images on the main page say the entries are closed, but you can still go to them and enter (well, I didn't try actually doing it, but the option is enabled).

 

although now I'm tempted to try Yaya again...

Oh man, the deadline has been extended? This means another day of me biting my nails waiting for the lottery results... And trying to fight the temptation to apply for both Devilman dolls omg

volks just charged my card for the outfits !

I got the charge notice today too.

 

I only bought a coat and a pair of the frill shorts but I bought a DD3 body too.

Galvatim was right that Yaya looks a lot like Yuki.

Yaya looks less like the DDH-06 in person. Her eyes (eye holes) are bigger than Yuki's but not as big as I thought they would be based on photos. Yuki's animetic eyes don't fit without showing a significant amount of the sclera. I thought Yaya's head would be larger based on the photos but the head looks similar in size to Yuki's.

I think it was Iomi that says she looks like a cross between Yuki and Nanoha !!

She is really cute. I really couldn't tell what she looked like in person at all from the photos.

I wasn't either I was just pointing out an assumption I had heard, you did not even mention nanoha

I don't know the Nanoha mold. I can't tell what it is like. I know Yuki more.

I'd say Yaya has *far* more resemblance to Yuki than to Nanoha, personally. Especially the lips--Nanoha has very full lips, while Yaya's are even thinner than Yuki's. Nanoha's chin is also rounder than either of them, at least to my eye. Then again, I've long loved Nanoha's mold and don't care much for Yaya's at all, so I'm probably extremely biased.

I don't know the Nanoha mold. I can't tell what it is like. I know Yuki more.

haha I did say that on twitter talking to FJay and Shadonia, but looking at Mitsuki's comparison pictures, I do agree she's far more like Yuki than Nanoha ( The reason I said nanoha was because of her big round eyes XD )

 

I prefer Yuki over Yaya but she's still a pretty girl ^^ I want to see what Ronron does with her should she put her up on auctions.

That email was sent out at around 3:30am-ish Eastern.

 

January 22nd started around 10am Eastern. Right now it's about 11am in Japan.

That was merely an official update on what we already knew--they delayed it. So they are still on schedule to announce the winners tonight.

 

Time to wait around patiently and see if luck decides to not be on my side.

I see, I didn't realized they already announced the delay and I don;t pay attention too much I thought the e-mail said 23rd
