You don't have to have a proxy to buy on the international site. In order to buy from the Japanese lotto or anything restricted to "Japan only" you'd need a proxy. VolksUSA and Volks International are sort of different beasts. For example, if you order a limited doll through VolksUSA you'd be able to buy any special items they make available like hands. If I understand the rest correctly (which I probably also have screwed up *sigh*) if I enter the USA lottery for a doll and win, I could buy special items like the hands from the international site and/or from Volks USA, but, if I win the doll in an international lottery, I can't buy special items because I'm didn't get her from Volks USA? I know, I know...I'm having some kind of brain freeze over all of this because I just can't seem to make any sense of it...I just know I want a chance at MELTY for that incredible price!!
