Volks Dollfies Web-Exclusive Offer (Lottery)

My gut is telling me this lottery might have the worst win rates of any lotto held so far, at least for the DDs. I entered, but expect approximately nada.

I think so too, think they won't have much stock of the more popular girls compared to the original lotteries for them.

True. But then again the usual lotteries are also open to Japanese residents.

 

Huh? I don't see any difference between this International lottery and any other International lotteries. Internationals are never open to Japanese residents... they have their own lottery, separate from ours.

 

If anything, the win rates may be even worse than usual because without a Japanese lottery to enter, Japanese residents may be using International proxies to enter this one, when they may not normally do so.

OH MY GOSH my parents apparently entered for four of them to be my ultimate Christmas gifts @___@ They obviously won't tell me which ones, though I have my suspicions of them being Melty, Alice, Asuna, and Nanami

With Momo just paid for, I decided to only enter for a Vampire Set (M/L Bust), but I'm cheering on everyone who entered for dolls!!

Maybe this is also clever marketing research from Volks to gauge the international demand. They can see what's popular and what's not.

 

If it was really a popularity research it wouldnt be this narrow a selection in my oppinnion. for instance there isnt a single MDD in the lineup.

 

One thing thats been puzzling me is that its quite limited in selection, eventhough it seems pretty diverse at first. Since its basicly from last summers to this summers limited models on offer, so in that sense Im also tempted to go with the ex showgirl theory.

 

One theory i've also had is rebodied ex display models from volks showrooms, that just have gone through scrutineering to be able to sell "as new".

 

But in any case Im pretty chuffed this sort of thing is available although the timing sucked for me due to Kosmos, and could only enter for one lost opportunity.

Unfortuanely not. Once you enter for something on a sheet you can't enter again for something else. You have to select them all at once.

There's a thread I started in the "Sales and Auction Links" section of the forums titled "Volks USA Finds (Torrance, CA)" and every time I visit the store I update the thread with what Limited DDs & items I've seen that aren't listed on the website. Extra stock of dolls & items that were lottery items won't be listed on the website so this is my way to help people out

 

The do have Lucy Maria Misora Magical Princess Version still in stock as of the last time I visited. So long as you're in the United States of America (including Hawaii and Alaska), Canada, & Mexico you can shoot them an e-mail asking if the items you want are in stock and be able to purchase them.
