ryukku_k Posted October 24, 2013 Hello everyone, I have known and have interest in this doll hobby since 2005, but only got my first (resin BJD) in 2010, when I earned my own money! Quite unrelated but that was how it got me into DD. Never thought I would own a DD until I 'naughtily' pop into Volks' website during Dolpa 27; where Rise caught my attention and I instantly fell in love with her. She instantly became my grail doll, and I knew I had to have her - and yes I did! So happy when I won her lottery! :'D Vinyls are so different from resins and initially I thought that Rise's SD-like face was what made me want her; but DD are really growing on me now! DX I have just recently brought home my first MDD, Latuni Subota and waiting for DDS Hatsune Miku. My only grail DD right now is MDD Al Azif On a side note, I have been stalking this forum for a long time now...only recently created an account to introduce myself orz I am active on my DDs' updates on both Flickr and Instagram lol Hope to share and learn lots of stuffs from fellow DD owners here! I also never thought I would own any DD's, though I did look at them a lot, and I really loved them. That's so cool you got Rise in the lottery, congratulations I'm glad you could get your grail!
