Hi from The Netherlands!

Hi everyone!

 

I'm completely new to this forum and mostly a noob when it comes to DD, although I take research quite seriously and thus have been doing a lot of it recently I've been into resin BJD's for three years now and I have quite the doll family but as for DD, none have made it home yet. But I do have a custom painted SQ Lab Hibiki head (her name is Miyuki and her body will be ordered in December) and my first DD is actually on layaway. She's a second hand girl, because I was afraid of custom fees and also of breakages in the DDIII body. So when I found the perfect combination of an original version Yukino on the DDII body from a seller that doesn't mind marking down her value, I jumped on it. I've wanted her for about a year now, so I'm beyond excited to get her. She'll be coming home in December and her name is Hanako. She's going to be Miyuki's big sister.

 

I have a lot to learn about vinyl dolls as opposed to resin, so I'm hoping to find lots of information here on the forum. I'm not sure yet if I'll fall totally in love with them once Hanako makes it home, but if I do I'm pretty sure my next DD project will be DDS Mariko. She kills me with cuteness every time I see a picture, but I need to make sure I like vinyl dolls before I fork out on so much for her on the second hand market!

WELCOME!!!! To the DD forum. I'm sure you are going to have a lot of fun here and learn a lot about DDs. I'm so happy to see you here. Yukino is one of my favorite DD molds. She is just so cute. I think you will love DDs they are ao different from resin BJDs. They are even lighter than all my msd bjd. So this makes then very easy and fun to change clothes and wigs. Also they are able to keep the poses very well

 

 

I'm really anxious to see your girl. I'm sure you will make her look super gorgeous

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yukino is certainly adorable, I can't wait to see her with my own eyes! Wow, they're lighter than an MSD? I don't know why I thought they would be heavier, lol. Maybe because Azones are so heavy (or so I've heard). But yay, I'm venturing into the DD world now
