Shawnee Posted October 26, 2013 So, a little bit ago, I took my first step into the world of DD. I ordered my MDD Rena! I've never held or seen one in person, so she was completely new to me. But oh my gosh I just love her, and she's so cute. Inital reactions: Holy crap she is huge. (I guess I'll be even more surprised to hold a DD) She is bigger in every way to my resin MSD's. But I love her body, I think it's incredibly adorable. Also, her head is so big and cute. I love the "big headed" look. Right when I took her out (After admiring and loving her) I changed her eyes. (I was upset, my UPS man left her in the SUNLIGHT. My whole porch is shaded, but he left her in the one spot that was constant sun. I was scared she melted, LOL. But it actually turned out to be good, because the hotglue got soft enough that I could remove her eyes without too much trouble. So I put the cute purple ones in that I ordered with her. I also ordered a bunch of different hands, and a cute outfit, which I put on her. Then I changed her wig, too. And fell on the name "Hana." So, here's my lovely girl, my first introduction to the world of Dollfie dreams. Now I am even more excited to meet my Miku (Though it won't happen for a LONG time.) And I also have my DDH-03 incoming, though she is blank and needs a faceup!

battrastard Posted October 26, 2013 What an adorable face! Congrats on your first one, wait'll you get hold of a full-sized DD, I'm still impressed with Tana and Maiko after nearly two years! (and they're just DD II!! DDdy bodies are way different in comparison!) You're in for a lot of fun, hope you post plenty of pics! "Madness takes it's toll, Please have exact change!" Poofiemus Posted October 26, 2013 Congratulations! I LOVE the purple eyes and pink wig on her! I think it works far better with her gentle little face than her default eye/wig combo, so I agree, having the hot glue melt was definitely serendipitous. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

I feel like with how big Hana is, holding the bigger sized DD, it's going to be awesome. I actually want a DDdy girl in the future, x3 It will be fun to have different sizes I think. Congratulations! I LOVE the purple eyes and pink wig on her! I think it works far better with her gentle little face than her default eye/wig combo, so I agree, having the hot glue melt was definitely serendipitous. That's very nice of you to say, thank you! I like her default eyes, but I agree, I feel they should be on a doll that appears older. Plus I couldn't get her wig on anyway The pink wig was a little bigger/more stretchy, so it's super easy to get on over the cap. I really like her default wig though, one of my resins will probably steal it! Now that she's been home for a day, I'm enjoying her so much. I have a question for you guys, if that's ok. I bought a bunch of different hands for her, and I've noticed that some of them, the opening is smaller than the hands she came with. So they don't fit over the "bar" on her internal skeleton hand. Is there a way to loosen them up at all?

(don't put the dryer too close, the vinyl can and does blister!) Eventually, the hands will get easier to change.... "Madness takes it's toll, Please have exact change!" NekoSan22 Posted November 12, 2013 Congrats! She looks so cute! Where's the wig from? If I randomly disappear in the conversation, don't blame me, blame my homework and real life! >0< The mother of one much-loved DD!<3 My doll blog is Neko's Dollies!
