kymaera Posted October 28, 2013 My big effort for the Halloween meet this past weekend was to make a grim reaper outfit for Zoe: I took her kimono that I'd previously made for her: and made a hood from the same material. Then added some bling in the form of a skull bracelet used as a belt and a necklace of skulls. The mask was a plastic skull from Walmart that I cut out the bottom and back of to make a mask. Her staff was Saber's sword-cane with a smaller plastic skull stuck on the end. I'd also found a slightly smaller Styrofoam skull that I poke a neck hole in. Here you can see where she "recruited an assistant" (one of Vegablack's chibis): The outfit also works well as a necromancer outfit without the skull mask. As you can see, she's even more scary without the mask
Silverwing Posted October 28, 2013 Zoe looks awesome kymaera! I really like the foam skull Idea. It's an excellent setup for Halloween!
Marq V Posted October 28, 2013 You did a really great job with the skull mask. At first I thought you just put a skull head on top of a body but it was cool that you actually made a mask. It gave a lot of authenticity to the Halloween costume theme. Like I told animagic4u, there are a lot of talented people in our Arizona group. Of course, there are many talented people all around the world here on Dollfie Dreams. kymaera Posted October 29, 2013 Thanks for the kind comments. Marq, the skull that the MDD had on was my backup plan if I hadn't found a plastic skull that I could mod. And yes, we do have a lot of talented people in our group.
