Tsubaki gets some Christmas clothing!

If you guys are on Figurefm, you know that I am giving my sister a DD for Christmas. If you didn't know this, I'll give you a quick rundown.

 

When I adopted Rei from Japan, I didn't know she was the older style DDI type body, which uses strings to hold it together and not a skeleton like the DDII type body. After some time of messing around with it, I decided to upgrade her to the newer Type II DD body. This left me with the older Type I body with nothing to do.

 

My sister really loves Manami and has been wanting a DD for a while now. I have tried to explain all I can about them to her but the cost has kept her away from getting one. That's when I decided what to do with the Type I body. I'll get it a new head, have it painted up and give her that for Christmas.

 

So when I got Rei's new body, I also got an 04 head, eyes, wig and makeup stuff. It got sent to DeadlyGambit and she did the faceup for me. So now I have a complete girl named Tsubaki to give to my sister Amy.

 

Fast forward to now and it's time for presents. My Mom wanted to get some clothing for Tsubaki so I ordered some from Alices Collections. She also decided to get some clothing on her own off ebay. When these clothes came in, she gave them to me to test fit and check to make sure everything was good.

 

After putting on the ebay clothes, I really got hit with how nice Tsubaki really is. So I decided to give her a proper photo shoot before she leaves to be with her new Mom.

Tsubaki decides to sit down for a minute so we can see her boots better. These are from MimiWoo and cost $15! A steal in my opinion because they rock!

 

 

The pants are actually long shorts. The pockets on the sides open up too so you can keep stuff in them!

 

 

Just look at this adorable face... I kind of hate to see her go!

Sigh. I know she will be loved by her new Mom but I know my girls will be a little sad to see Tsubaki leave. But I will make sure they see each other alot so they don't get too lonely!

Shes so cute It is sad you are giveing her up but your sister will love her. Do you have a special box for her (dont forget the air holes ) so she can have a box opening.

Hee hee, thank you! I have that clear plastic box that the DDII body came in to put her inside. I'll also put her inside the shipping box that came in to help protect her. I won't box her up and wrap her until tomorrow night tho so Tsubaki will have the smallest amount of time inside the box as possible. But I know she will be fine for that short period of time!

Oh she did! She actually cried when she opened her up. That small window of realization when she opened the doll stand box was great. Check for my thread with a video link in it to see how she acted!
