Third Annual Holiday Card Exchange

I've received 2 wonderful Christmas cards!

 

The first one to arrive was from katnaper And just like everyone else who received a card from her I also have to say it was extremely well made! I was pretty sure it was handmade from the look of it and then I saw your markings on it to confirm my thoughts My girls really love the card, but the one who loved it the most was Tsukiko since it contained a short message from Kaylus that Millie made sure to write in Seraphina was a bit miffed that Tsukiko got a message from Kaylus telling her she was cute, but made no mention of her The stickers included are super cute as well Thanks so much!

 

Yay! Someone else who received our card. Glad you and the girls liked it. Kaylus says to please convey his apologies to Seraphina. He says (and I quote), "I was too overwhelmed by Seraphina's beauty that I had no words left to describe my feelings. Before I was done carefully considering each word and discarding it as inadequate, Millie had sealed the card in the envelope as she thought I was done. Sigh.I do hope she finds it in her beautiful and generous heart to forgive such a bumbling idiot like me .

I received a lovely card from katnaper as well =) like others I thought it may have been store bought you did a great job! my girls think its cute and very festive its going to be sitting on my table for some time since my girls love it so much =) like others I am a bit behind so my Christmas surprise/Cards went out today I have my fingers crossed that everyone gets them before the holiday or very close after =)

My first card arrived and it was from Katnaper too. It's so cute, everyone loves the stickers!

I sent out my cards, they should arrive before Christmas.

I've gotten 3 cards now and I really need to get some pics of my girls with them because they're all so nice! I'll be sure to do that this weekend for sure.

 

Also on tap for this weekend is me sending out my cards. I know, I'm a week late but hey, poo poo occurs as they say and Saturday is the quickest I can get them sent. All but one will be on time tho as all but that one are in the US. Not sure if my out of country one will be there before Xmas but I'm hoping so. If not, I'm super sorry for the delay!

I've been working on my cards as steadily as I can as well but my wrist has been causing me a lot of trouble. They all should be out by Saturday for the cards, or Monday at the latest for the few with extra goodies. I'm really very, very sorry. I've been working on them for weeks and never intended to be late.

 

We have received cards from Coco, Djgamer, & Katnaper, so thank you very much! I'll get pictures of them after we get our tree up. I have been very thankful that we have had friends on the forums to share the holidays with especially because Christmas can be a bit overwhelming to me. Raven, our DD family, & I had so much fun last year doing the card exchange that we are putting up a bigger tree this year (its only about 4 feet) for the first time in about five years or so. Tama has just been giddy about it since we pulled it out a few days ago, and his happiness has been infectious. He's been really happy to help with this year's cards but he's just as excited about making ornaments out of the cards and stickers sent to us last year. Even Dolly has been talking Tama's ears off about how he wants to decorate the 'boy's tree' (another small one I found stashed away). I still have yet to discover what Dolly and Ralph are going to come up with...

I got 2 awesome cards so far one was from katnaper and was very lovely. It was handmade of win and there were some super cute stickers that Nikko's trying to decorate my room with. The other that I received was from Coco and it had an adorable doll sized card inside as well as a locket necklace that Hikaru laid claim to as soon as it slipped out of the envelope xD

 

Thanks so much for the cards sent so far! This has been awesome. I dropped Semi and my cards in the mail this past tuesday. I'm so sorry for the tardiness my work schedule didn't allow me to send them off sooner D;

All of my cards have finally been sent out! I'm sure the 4 in the US will make it in time , but the 2 that were International most likely will be late... really sorry about that! Hope everyone likes the cards I made!

I also got all my cards sent out on Saturday! All but one were in the US so those will be on time. One was going to Australia so that one *may* be a hair late. I apologize for that but hopefully it won't be too late for you!

I received another card from DarkAvenger696! Not only was there a card, but there was a Christmas gift put together by her girls for my little Tsukiko The card was just lovely! Cute puppies on the front and cute DD girls on the inside made this the cutest card of all hehe. But I was shocked upon seeing the gift. I was going to be good and put it under the DD tree, but I my husband encouraged me to go ahead and take a peek at what I then found out was a specially tailored gift of sweets for Tsukiko Everything is so cute & festive and delicious looking... I promise I didn't try to eat any of them

 

But I really want to give you a very VERY big thanks for the card & gift. I actually had a really really bad day at work so when I got home and opened up the package it really helped to cheer me up Hadn't realized that Tsukiko has such a fanbase~ This is actually the 2nd handmade gift she has received for her personally She's going to get spoiled if this keeps up haha! But again thank you so much and I will try my best to get some pictures taken of Tsukiko enjoying everything

aw I'm so glad it got there safe and before the holiday! my girls really think Tsukiko is so cute and they wanted to make something for her so away they went XD and its fine that you opened it I didn't expect anyone to wait till after haha. So points to your husband for egging you into opening it! Rise is very glad you didn't try to eat them she kept telling me she was worried that since her and her sisters had made everything look so good that someone would mistakenly try to eat a DD sweet haha I'm glad it made your day better and its ok to spoil your DD every now and again. I'm glad you and Tsukiko enjoyed the surprise and my girls are excited to see pictures

Hopefully my cards arrived safely. I sent off a few extra and it seems one of the envelopes was damaged.

I got a lovely card from Djgamer and a cute gift that my girls have been playing with and clipping to the Christmas tree I am hoping to get pictures of my girls with some of the cards etc I have gotten after the holiday its just so crazy since its *checks date* OMG 2 days till Christmas?!! *runs off to try and finish everything on time*

Sister Kyoya & family sent a SUPER cute Gingerbread Girl Cookie Card!!! When I opened the card I was seriously amazed at the awesome detail of this handmade card. I really love how much it looked like a cookie (made me wish it was real so I could eat it ). Really appreciate the work you put into this SK and I'm glad I was a recipient of an SK original Gingerbread Cookie Card

 

And littlebearries sent a lovely card with a cute handmade puppy necklace! Of course Tsukiko grabbed that for herself... this Christmas is the Year of Tsukiko lol! Many thanks for the wonderful necklace

 

Really appreciate all the cards/gifts I got through this exchange! I do hope that my cards have made it to their destinations. Pictures will definitely be taken on Christmas Eve/Day of the girls with all the cards so everyone can see

Rise was right to be worried! When I first opened the box and saw the cookie cane I thought it looked pretty tasty For a second I thought it might be an actual cookie, but then I remembered the delicious looking DD treats you've made before & thought better of it. Then the letter to Tsukiko answered all the questions hehe~ But yes I'm very glad I didn't wait! Work has been so busy (10 hour nights) so I haven't had a chance to take pictures. I'll end up taking pictures on Christmas Eve/Day since I have those days off I did take a few pictures of Tsukiko with her treats at the park on Saturday during the Dollheart Meet so hopefully those came out well (haven't had a chance to look through em yet ). If Tsukiko could smile she would give a great big smile for you & your girls' generosity

I got my card or should I say cards from Littlebearries. Wow, I certainly didn't expect five of them! They are lovely and I just love the little necklaces. All my cards are hanging on my Christmas tree, thanks so much guys and Merry Christmas!

Ah, I forgot to mention that I got all my cards. I wish I could get a picture of Rika with them, but I would like to say thank you to everyone who sent them to us! Merry Christmas you guys.

We received 2 cards, one from Coco and one from BouncingTigger. Thank you Coco and Rika for the cute necklace, bracelets and card. Thanks to Bouncing Tigger and her girls too for the lovely card and photos as well as the gifts (haven't had a chance to put the one in hot water yet though).

Just got cards from Vegablack and Innocentsake! both very cute! my girls were excited to have mail waiting when we got home =) hoping to take pictures this coming week of my girls and the cards we got. Hope all my girls treats and cards made it safe to everyone on our list!

The ice storm we've been buried under has finally released me, MWA HA! Our last house guest is heading home today, a mere 14 days after the storm... because they finally just got power. I feel so bad for them... but at least their pipes didn't burst!

 

I have gotten many wonderful cards and will post about them soon! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

We have gotten a ton of cards too but have yet to have the time to take proper photos. Raven and I haven't even had Christmas with our DD kids, we'll get around to it sometime before Feb. I'm finally getting a few days off since October now that we are visiting Raven's folks, life really has been that busy! At least with DD kids they don't mind having holidays late as long as they still get them. If it were up to Raven and Tama, the Christmas tree would never come down.

 

So a big huge thank you to everyone who we got cards from, each one is really appreciated.

We have just gotten a really pleasant surprise in the mail today - presents and cards for the Boy's Club and the girls from SK and her kids. They are so cute. Thank you. I will try to take photos when I can, hopefully soon

Glad to know it finally got there. Tama, Dolly, and Perry had to sit on the box so I could close it. Hopefully nothing got too crunched. I can't wait for pictures!
