One year with Kino and Minako!

I'm a little late with this post but as they say, better late than never!

 

I started my foray into MDD's a year ago as of 10-21-12 and had only planned on having one for a bit. Some things came up in my planning of Minako and she got delayed while someone else decided that you CANNOT have just one MDD girl and Kino was sent to me to be Minako's buddy.

 

Of course, Minako being Manami's little sister, she was very outgoing and in your face. Here's where she meets her other sister Mamimi for the first time.

Since these two were my first MDD girls, they got a lot of attention from me and my other DD girls. I spoiled them and got them some Legos in their size along with a table and chairs.

Thru some magical happenstance, we got MDD versions of Sprout and Mashiro to come join the fun.

Minako is very outdoorsy so she loved visiting my parents place in the country.

Kino likes dressing up so I let her wear whatever she likes.... which usually means she'll be adorable.

Even tho Minako is a tomboy, she knows how to be sweet and pretty too.

I didn't know too much about MDD's but I quickly found out they enjoy getting into all sorts of things...

After fiddling with the Volks MDD bodies a bit and doing LOTS of repairs, I decided to upgrade Minako to an Obitsu 45cm body.

And I really like how sturdy and posable it is compared to the MDD body. But because of the cute shape and look of the MDD body, I decided to keep Kino on one. She seems to be okay with it.

A little before Halloween this year, I finally got two outfits I'd been after for ages. And I think they both went to the correct girl.

As I said before, my bigger girls love the MDD's and Mamimi especially enjoys reading to them. Lenny likes being read to as well.

So there they are! My first two MDD girls have really made a big impact on me and my family, so much so that I added two more MDD girls to the mix. I really love them and I'm very glad I decided to go down the dark MDD path after all.

A year already! , time flies. Congrats on another anniversary!

OH NO!!! More MDD pictures!! They are starting to haunt me now!! I think I'm going to have to change my Christmas list and add just three letters to it...MDD!!! Kino and Minako are soooooo cute!!!
