Newbie here and new to DDs

Hello all! I hope to make this place my home for a very long time (or as long as I stay interested in the Dollfie world). Anyways, it's nice to find a place to share a hobby such as this with friendly and helpful people. Been lurking around for a while, decided to join. Hotmail was giving me problems but I finally managed to join!

 

Anyways, so to get on with it, I am a fairly new owner. I've been collecting pvc figures for a while (about 3 years or so) and started running out of space so I had to stop! I am a big Type-Moon fan and I especially love the Fate/stay night universe (played all 3 arcs on the VN, seen both the FSN anime and Fate/Zero and the UBW movie, as well as played part of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Still waiting on the people over at Beast's Lair to finish the full translation. It's nearly complete!). So, naturally I eventually came across a saber DD and became interested. Of course more searching would reveal I had just missed the pre-orders of Saber Alter v2 and Nero (Saber/Extra) by a month or so! Needless to say I ended up getting Alter v2 after searching around for her. She is just so gorgeous.

 

Moving on, I finally paid up on my KOS-MOS and MOMO DDs as well (just waiting on Volks International to ship them out soon) AND I also put down a pre-order for Hatsune Miku! (I very much enjoy the project diva games as well).

 

I don't plan on stopping there either. I will say that for now, my "Holy Grail" (pun not intended ha!) for now would most likely be Saber Lily (go figure LOL).

 

I also plan on doing a custom dollfie later on using the "Tamamo-no-mae" character image from Fate/Extra (though I may try to commission her beautiful outfit from Fate/Extra CCC). I will be looking for help/advice for that much later on.

 

There are a lot of other girls I would LOVE to have, but being insane on the aftermarket, I will have to have much patience. (Alice Kuonji, Nero, Rin, Natsuki off the top of my head).

 

Lastly, I am a 28 year old single (straight) male who likes to play with and dress up large scale dolls. LOL. Hope to make some new friends and meet some awesome people on here!

I'm excited to see everyone's KOS-MOS and MOMOs and how they choose to style them and make them their own. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your Saber as well as your future girls too!

Thank you for the warm welcome Arienette! I'm still bad at taking photos (still learning how to properly setup my Nikon D5000 dslr and I have 3 lenses). My order from Dollmore arrived yesterday and I am in love with some of the clothes on Saber. She looks so gorgeous in them! I will post pics once I get my post count up (I still have yet to get a flickr/tumblr/twitter/figure.fm/doll.fm account heh).
