NSFW Kos Mos opening and wig trying on (IMG heavy)

Soooooo, she's here at long last!!!!....... but I haven't figured out anything about her yet.

 

She surprised me, since tracking said she hadn't left customs yet.

Without further ado...

 

Pretty box

Right away you know she has a lot of stuff, cause they needed to put her outfit, extra eyes, and wig on the top level with her.

I can see her pretty face, now!

Poor girl, she must be cold.

Usually the bottom has loose packages and maybe a smaller box, but this is what was in hers! Just another huge box.

And here's what's inside that box.

Sooo many parts.

Unfortunately this hand seems flawed to me. It's the knife holding hand. It has that line across the back, and the others don't. Does anyone else have this?

All the clothing parts.

Her undies and garter straps have invisible parts to hold them up.

 

 

And now for the wig trying on.

 

Starting in the blond range. Her head is quite small, Saber's wig barely stayed on. She may even fit a stretchy 7/8.

I don't think she makes a very good blond...

...although this one's surprisingly not as hilarious as I thought it would be.

Volks Cream color. This one's not too terrible, but it's Ayano's so she can't have it.

This one the bangs would need trimmed, but I don't think braids are for her anyway.

Moving into lighter fantasy colors. This one was huge on her, it barely stayed on. It's a Miruya, so it's a bit bigger.

With Akira's pigtail. I don't think she's a girly-girl, based on the outfit she picked.

I don't like Melty's wig at all, it's too light.

This color's really nice with her blue eyes, but it's too big, and besides it belongs to Lydia, my Melty.

This one's also decent, but not quite as good.

Sakuya's wig. I like it ok. It may need a wig cap though, it's a little big.

A black wig. I also have this one in white, but I didn't even put it on her since she seems to look better in darker colors.

A similar one, but it's natural black, not ink black, and much longer.

 

And just for laughs, a boy's wig, which is huge on her.

 

 

Hopefully this can help someone. It only sort of helped me. I think I like Sakuya's the best, but I'm not sold on anything. I may have to get her a shorter, medium to dark brown wig of her own. Nothing jumped out and said, this is it! And until I get her look more together, she won't tell me her name either.

The two Leekeworld 8/9 wig I got especially for mine could fit right over her ears! Even then the wig wouldn't stop slipping off her head.

The next hurdle would be finding a maker that produces small 1/3 sized wigs. Wonder if bigger 1/4 wigs would be better for our case.

I think she looked really good in Akira's ponytail!

I liked the first blue wig. And i was thinking kosmos was just ok until i saw her in that brown wig *o* wooow ♥

I was surprised at how big the wigs are on her too. I've found that the volks silicone ring thing is really helpful for her.

 

I also have found the dark wigs look better on her, definitely in the charcoal brown/rich brown range.

No problem, I had to try things on her anyway, so why not take pictures? Since her head cap is so shallow, it's a challenge finding a wig that will fit. I have a similar problem with my 03 head, where her head is smaller so I have to pad it out with a wig cap to keep an 8/9 on her. My friend had a Volks MSD wig, and it fit my 03 head better. That may be the case with Kos Mos too.

Thanks. Some girls you can put anything on and they'll look good, and others are more picky. Kos is definitely a picky one.

Yeah, I think so too. Thanks. I didn't like the initial pictures of her in red eyes, but I loved her in the blue. So I knew I would switch them immediately.

I like the blue green wig on her too, it's the only fantasy color I have that didn't look silly on her. But she's definitely pretty in dark brown. I think Sakuya's wig looks better because she looks nicer when you treat her more realistic and less anime. She is certainly different from any of my other girls.

With Sakuya's wig, I can put it on her with a cloth cap underneath, but not both a cloth and silcone one. But it may be fortuitous that her head is small, since I couldn't use Sakuya's wig for what I had originally intended (Melty) since it wouldn't go on her giant noggin with a cap, so she would've gotten heavily stained.

Few questions.. Did she come with basic hands and then hands to hold her Dragon Tooth (or is there another "knife" she comes with? I was confused by Volks' terms).. Also, can she wear her feet in those boots, have you tried them? :3

yes she comes with regular hands and 4 special hands. yes she can hold her dragontooth sword. she also has a seperate black ankle knife. you take off her feet and pop in the blue boots. you can find pictures of these detail in my kos mos review on figure fm

She does look great in sakuya's wig. Tho I don't think my sakuya would want to gives hers to kosmos. ; ;

Good news! I have pried some info from her.

 

She likes Sakuya's wig best, and will likely be keeping it. And, her name is Kate (short for Kathryn).

 

 

I will likely eventually change her eyes though. No matter what I do, they seem to be set back just slightly in her eyewells. So it seems as though the eyes are too big, even though they are ones that came with her. Maybe I'll ask my local group if I can borrow any other eyes to try on her.
