Modding smiley sculpts?

You could try painting the sculpt to make the smile less emphasized-- a bit of paint on the lip corners diverting the shape of the smile could go a long way. You can also reshape her lips by building over it with some epoxy, sand it smooth, carve out a new shape, and then paint over it to color match with the vinyl. Lastly, you can just try to sand out the smile indents on the farther corners to make her smile less prominent-- but if you sand it too flat, beware that she might end up with a much smaller mouth.
