Creamy Mami (completed 6.17!)

I wasn't a fan of their resin casts (Mami is cute, but Yuu was so.. wrong!) and I figured it would be odd to have one resin and one DD, I decided to make my own set of DD!

I am not sure if I will be making Yuu since she was made in SD size by Volks (yet was a child?).. But decided to take the plunge for Mami!

I'm not familiar with the characters, so I don't know what sculpts would suit them. But I think the Melty ones by toel-uru on flickr are super cute!

Aw yes, I love the cosplays. And good idea, I realized I forgot to get photos of them on here.. which would be helpful

Sadly I have no before photos, but the head is off to the artist, eyes will start commission soon, and outfit is on it's way!

Oh fantastic! I've been a fan of the Super Dollfie version of Mami for a long time, I think it'll be really neat to see a DD version ^^

The SD version actually inspired it! She didn't look enough like Creamy Mami to me.. Took me ages to find a correct mold for a more anime accurate Mami.

 

I hope in about a month she may be finished! She is at her artist, outfit on the way, and Ersa is working on her eyes. I am very excited over Mami!

Oh I will! I got in the outfit today I will probably post a photo of much distressed headless Mami I'm so eager for her to be back from makeup and eyes to be finished!

 

I have a feeling I will be addicted to my magical girl squad. Her and Illya are my first.. I am sure more will come!

Sorry for the lack of update.. My health hasn't been great, so it took a while to get the energy to do this! Her head was mailed yesterday so Mami will be finished right in time to cheer me up before a surgery I am having

Outfit!

It is a tiny bit baggy on her body. The details are incredible, though. Her skirt is in two parts and has tons of poof. She does need new hands to hold the wand, though and her wig will need to be styled since it is in a bit of a messy condition ^^; She is on the original DDII from 2004.. So I need to tighten her up because she will literally fall if you blow on her, lol!

Sadly due to a surgery Wednesday, this project may be on a slight hold.. Well, good finished photos at least! I am hoping her head gets here early enough that I can finish her up and at least snap a few photos to show off her finished result and take better ones when I get all better!

Oooh! Lovely ! I love the magic wand! It almost seems like it's 1/1 scale to the little one Yu has before she transforms. ^_^

It's kind of hard to tell. It's decent size for Mami, but doesn't seem as big as Illya's. I will take some comparison photos for you in a few days or so if you want me to PM them to you!

Thanks everyone for following! I took some quick shots in my room (they're from my phone, so not the best quality).. So happy to have her finished before surgery tomorrow! Sadly these photos will have to do until I heal up. But here is Mami!

Thanks Poof! I am in love.. I honestly had my doubts because well, I find Cheryl to be pretty hideous in default make/eyes/etc.. I decided to take a chance and didn't think it would work out this well.. But once I got shots of her I was stunned! I want another now!

 

I am sure she will love to meet her adoring fans and perform a lovely show (I hope to make/commission her microphone).. And my hoard of magical girls is growing >D

Thank you! I disliked the SD version due to how much she didn't look like the anime, but it pushed me to make my own! I am very happy with my cute little magical idol girl ^_^

You can play with her all you want! She needs maintenance to be able to stand since she's a 10 year old body ^^; her lips sparkle and everything! I can't wait for you to see her :3 I'll have to make sure I live with the right number of girls, lol!

Thank you so so very much. Sadly she's stuck upstairs while I'm downstairs (foot surgery, so stairs are my mortal enemy!). The outfit really is amazing.. I kind of am wanting to make Yuu now~! I also think I need to get her microphone, compact, pink stage dress, and would love to find mini plushies of her alien cats! I think Mami is gonna be so spoiled..!
