What's your Dollfie getting this Christmas?

It's funny! I came across this when my boyfriend asked me yesterday "what do you want for Christmas?" xD I'd like my Dynamite Miko =) And I think that for once, Santa Claus will bring me what I want for the first time xD

Seeing as how my DD family has grown to over 30 girls now, getting each one their own clothing or shoes and such is now just about impossible. So I'll probably give them some things they all can use like I've done before..... like accessories and things to play with. In the past I've gotten them a pool table, air hockey and a claw machine so I hope I can find something similar for them to have fun with.

Congrats, Miinako, I'd love to be saying the same once Miko is restocked again but as I have no idea on usual re-stock time periods for Volks' webstore - whether for items marked "Will be Restocked" whether I'll be waiting days, weeks, months etc. In the mean time, I have the money for her aside burning a hole in my wallet and with me trying very very very hard to resist the urge to spend it elsewhere

 

I just realised then, too, I have no idea what wait times are like for DDs! I'm used to waiting on ABJDs where wait times can vary a lot from company to company but tend to fall in to what I'd call 3 main categories - 3 to 4 months, 6 to 8 months & up to 1 year and beyond (like Dollshe). In general, what are DD wait times like by comparison for standard model girls like Miko?

Once a girl is in stock, it usually only takes about a week to process + normal shipping time, unless they're really backed up processing orders. I don't think I've ever seen them get more backed up than a month for processing in stock stuff, and that's not super common. It's just like ordering an in stock item from anywhere.

I hope to get a body for my HDD-09 head , im still thinking between a DDS or DDY body ! and many clothes >__

Luke is getting some clothes and hopefully a new wig. I'm also hoping to snag the White rabbit cardigan set for Melina. ;A;

Since Aila is the youngest member of my crew, she's getting two sets of clothes ( a dress and a Doll Heart Military outfit) all for her~ I think I pretty much splurged on her lately , although that's probably a given since she doesn't really have much of a wardrobe since she can't share with her sisters

 

Haruna gets some new hands , and Naoto's getting another one of her outfits done and...something (although how she's going to react to that something is going to be extremely debatable lol)

 

Senka .... she actually doesn't get anything since among all my girls she gets spoiled the most for the past year orzzz . Although I MIGHT probably surprise her by bringing her love interest Selina in doll form at some point uwu

Now that my Miko has arrived as kind of an early Christmas present (so happy) and I already have a couple of gorgeous new wigs for her from Licht that I love (I bought a 3B Mixed purple and also managed to nab a 3B Emerald Green, both which I love but the latter which I adore the colour of - just perfect) I am now hoping to have some suitable eyes in time for Christmas ...especially now that I have a very particular idea in mind for her character Also, as I know I won't have any time to sew for my girl before next year (especially as I am travelling in 4 weeks time) I have been busy online window shopping and trying to decide if I get her some interim shoes and clothes to play with for Christmas or whether I can hold off until next year when I return and when funds are more readily available. Decisions decisions ^^

Every year it's the same, I have no idea what to get my DDs!

Maybe something that's fitting to each of their personalities.

Since I'm also in the "Boatload of DD" club (we currently have 11 finished!) the biggest thing the kids are getting is another sister. If everything goes as expected, Ringo will have her body ordered on Friday. We have been missing her like crazy, Rainie has been mad and demanding to know where her twin sister is, and even Ralph (their older brother) had me re-write Blue Christmas for him, about Ringo. (Trust me, it's weird! LOL!)

 

We still have a lot of things we bought last year and never got around to giving them (it was all just too overwhelming last year) but even then it is mostly for the younger kids. The biggest thing that they want seems to be memories (via photo stories) so I've really been working towards that. Tama is the one who's going to get the most things this year because I've started to work on the things for his kitchen so we can bake cookies this year too, my little resident baker boy. Poor guy might be run ragged making Yuriko some sweets once it's finished. Since we have the space I've been spending a lot of time converting My Froggy Stuff projects to DD scale (not always as easy as it sounds) so we can have the things to set up rooms for the kids. I'm hoping to work on some beds before Christmas too, one I need for Ellie's intro story that I had intended to do last Christmas when she arrived. Who knows, I might get a chance to work on some blankets too, or fleece slippers.

 

Recently we have been paring up our DD with the Vocaloids we have, so they can also sing Christmas carols this year as well, or at least their versions of them... Yuriko already has 'The 12 Cookies of Christmas', Dolly insisted on his own version of 'Over The River And Through The Woods', I'm working on Tama's version of 'Do You Hear What I Hear' as well as Ralph's song mentioned above.

 

So our family is as busy and lively as ever, if not more so. Each year Thanksgiving and Christmas seem to trigger all the requests of tons of things they want to do (Naiomi keeps insisting we have to work on their version of The Nutcracker, but that will be next year at the soonest... or perhaps the next...) and I love the excitement, but it is a very busy time as it is! I'm not complaining, because before DD, this time of year was the most depressing for me, so they give me exactly what I want every year, just by being themselves.

Well I've decided I'll be getting a couple of Dollheart Fukubukuros after all since in the coming year I'll have not one but possibly two new arrivals in the family... (and I said I wouldn't get any more DDs goodness) and since I plan to get Inaho's body later on in the year that means that all five will have bodies and will be demanding pretty much everything... >.> Thus with three guys and two girls in the house... they're definitely going to be needing some new apparel.

So far my girls might be getting a sister if I can manage it, otherwise clothing clothing cloooooooothing! Each girl especially the ones that haven't gotten anything new or spiffy in a while just for them will be getting something new and nice for christmas x3

In my case is what they're getting for MY birthday :

-obitsu 40 for one of the little ones

-kosmos limited eyes

-a handmade mdd dress, some bjd and DD clothes from china

-two heads

-a light tent for photos

-military dog tags and a grenade launcher XD

I also got a similar rifle! The same M16 with M203 laucher

there's quite a few 1/3 guns available after a long search of 3 weeks.

 

Not as many as are available in 1/6 though... everything I need for Felicia is available in 1/6.

 

To complete the look of my girl I needed a big rifle. Unfortunately the only thing I could find were m16s and the sr25 which is based on the AR/m16.

 

Unable to find more I had to order the sr25 injection mold model kit.
