OtakuDepot Posted August 7, 2011 I first wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to our very own Salica for letting me adopt Mio recently. I know it must be difficult having to give up some girls but I'm very happy I could welcome Mio into my home and give her a place with my other girls. I also should say that Salica takes such awesome care of her girls and their items. When I contacted her I verified that Mio had her original uniform and items (aka - bass guitar) and she said there were some slight stains from the wig. I have 6 other girls so I'm used to some staining and wig stains don't bother me since the wig covers them. Well, Mio arrived today and she was almost exactly as she would have been if she was shipped brand new from Volks. Original box that is in excellent shape, paperwork, bubble wrap, every item was in it's original plastic bag as well... Mio was even on the white cardboard in her plastic bag. Tied down with the original white ribbons! The only thing that made me realize it wasn't just sent from Volks directly were the extra items she included for me. Thank you Salica! That extra dress is one I've wanted for a while!!! It's perfect for Mio. (not my picture of course) The stains on Mio's head can hardly be seen at all. She is really in fantastic shape. She was even full of energy after getting dressed: I'm very lucky to be able to get a 2nd 'Unicorn' from my wish list of girls I want to adopt. I really didn't think I'd get the chance any time soon. I hope to do a photo story tomorrow to introduce her to the rest of my girls. I know they will all get along great. I can't say for sure if this is still the case but I believe Salica still has a few girls up for adoption if anybody is interested. Don't hold me to this but I believe she has the wonderful Yoko and Saber Lily still needing a home. If you are interested please contact her. She takes awesome care of her girls and you will be very happy you did. **James. baldylox Posted August 7, 2011 I'm glad she arrived safely James! She looks happy to be there from your pics! And that extra dress Salica included is AWESOME! I love that set! You lucky dog! It's really hard for Salica to be selling off her girls like this but it's good that she was able to get a few of them to people she knows. I totally agree that her girls are in excellent condition and it shows that she took good care of them. And as far as I know, she does still have Yoko and Saber Lily for sale. If anyone is interested, please PM her. Congrats on getting Mio James, I know she was important to you so I'm glad I mentioned her being available. Now lets see more pics of her and her new sisters! I think you need to put together a really nice living / dining room setup for her so that she can continue to live the posh lifestyle she was accustomed to while living with Salica. Thank you for the good press I have to say that my DD Saber Lily , it's only the body and wig I am selling ,and yes Yoko is still available with everything she came with and more I am very happy for Mio ,I know you will take good care of her , it is a great comfort to me . Like others have said, it's sad to see a family split up, but it's also great to see them adopted by such caring families. It's really fun to watch a girl go from one home to another and see them "live on" in a new life. You're family is growing quickly! Can't wait to see more photos. Thanks everyone! I'm still a little shocked when I see Mio hanging out near me. but very happy. I was planning on doing a intro photo story for her but got sick at the start of the week and haven't felt up to it. Hopefully this weekend will let me do that. **James.
