After pining away so long for a male Dollfie Dream, I decided I want make one of my own out of Lancer (Cú Chulainn) from the anime Fate/stay night:

Let me see, we already have an Emiya, now you're doing a Lancer, someone should do Archer or Gilgamesh. I'd do one but alas, my backlog of 'to do' projects is a million miles long so I'm out for now. Even my Allen Walker remains unfinished. Sigh.

 

So if anyone wants to do Archer or Gilgamesh, please, please do as I'd love to see those two.

Thanks so much for your support! Gil might be on my to-do list, although I myself don't particularly fancy the character much. His design is pretty cool, so I'm definitely tempted. And then Archer... well, his skin tone would probably be the hardest thing to figure out, is all! (Maybe a resin version...) I'd want to do him justice since, you know, I'm GAR for Archer.

 

Good luck working on Allen Walker! He'll reach completion eventually~ If you have any links to his progress, I'd love to see it.

Im pretty new to collecting dollfies. Is there no way to paint a new skin tone on a vinyl doll? I know artists that would use genesis heat paints to change the skin tone of a baby doll to more ethnic tones.

I've read about others tanning their Dollfie Dreams with Rit dyes (cocoa brown) or even spray paint for vinyl car seats, with usually good results.

I think I might be afraid of attempting this on an Obitsu 65cm body for Archer due to its moderate rarity, but maybe in the future when I can afford a second and not so broke! Or, might you consider attempting making Archer? :DDD

I'll probably need to purchase a second one of these bodies, since I doubt Lancer would like to share a body with Gil. xD

The next step is making his spear, Gae Bolg; and the armor shoulder pads~
