DarkAvenger696 Posted December 31, 2013 so I got a huge surprise under the Christmas tree this year, an MDD!!!!!! and so I have decided I am going to make my own version of Sailor Mini Moon from the anime Sailor Moon I have decided to go with blue for her eyes instead of the pink from the show (I like the blue a bit more and its more realistic if you have watched the show and know where Mini Moon came from hehe) I have a blank 01 head that I think will be super cute (I know an 04 would look almost exactly right but I dont like the huge cheeks on that one and I am kinda going for a Mini Moon pre-teen type MDD) I am not sure about the wig since it is a very different style, I am wondering if I may have to make my own from pieces of two wigs? the ones I currently have in mind are; I would use the extra long strands to put together the bun type pieces or I was thinking maybe this; and use extensions from a Cosplay wig to make her buns when I get some time I will update with a pic of what she currently looks like and hopefully I will have her completed by the end of January =D if anyone sees shoes that might work let me know as I haven't a clue where to start for that stuff Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I want to make a cosplay for my own girl. I love seeing Sailor Moon dolls, my desire to make a Hotaru custom Barbie is what's kept me in to dolls for so many years. I love the Sailor Moon dolls that are floating around too thats why I want one of my own hehe and oh wow Hotaru that will look so awesome... I recently saw a wig that was styled almost EXACTLY like her hair and it came in the custom dark purple I ALMOST bought it to just have sitting around in case but it was a bit to pricey to sit in a drawer >____< Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I know I was pretty happy with how my kid's Shinigami outfit from Bleach turned out with me being a beginning sewist and all that. So doing a Sailormoon style outfit would be quite the challenge that's why seeing you doing this on a MDD is so exciting as I would love to see how you do the outfit and style the wig and all. Hmmm... speaking of cosplaying DD's you just gave me an idea to do a DD sized version of my kid's shinigami outfit and get my Beatrice to cosplay Matsumoto... off to buy fabric..
