baldylox Posted January 1, 2014 Before her reveal on Christmas, I had Midori completed for a week or so and I had taken some pics of her so I could see how photogenic she was. From the pics I took, one thing was obvious, those eyes of hers were sooooo shiny and reflective! Any bit of color or light that hit them made them sparkle. So lots of these photos are closeups of her eyes and face. DSC_0042 by balldylox, on Flickr I had bumped into the tree when I was moving Midori around and one of the ornaments fell off and broke. But that made for some pretty cool pics... It took a few tries to get the settings right on the camera but I like how these next shots turned out. I've always liked shiny DD eyes and ever since I've had these eyes, I've tried them out in several girls.... but none of them ever worked out correctly. Now I know why tho, these eyes were meant for Midori. I'm glad you like them! She is very pretty! I do like 05 girls I love the lights catching in her eyes, beautiful! Thanks so much! Heh, I know she's pretty different from the rest of my girls but I kind of wanted her to be since she's an android. I'm amazed at how nice she turned out tho, Misskale did an excellent job with her faceup. She's cute. I cant wait til she gets her hair >:3 Thanks! I can't wait for her wig to come in either! I'm hoping to see it by next week. It needs to be trimmed but I've trimmed wigs before and those worked out well so I'll try this one too. I love her eyes and how they reflect the lights too. Don't be too sure about you taking pics like this in the far future... it will happen MUCH sooner than you expect if you just keep taking lots of photos and keep trying different approaches. I'm flattered you think so much of my photos! But remember, as long as you have a digital camera, film is cheap! Take as many pics as you can and try lots of things like settings and lighting. It does take time to get pics you'll be happy with, I'm still not 100% satisfied with mine. I know I can always do better so I strive for that. As long as you keep snapping pics, you WILL get better!
