Prima's First Face-Up

Finally got around to painting my DDH-01, Prima, today! Yesterday I went through the task of sanding off her lips so that I could give her a little frowny face, which took much longer than I anticipated, lol. Too used to working with resin, which sands much faster than Vinyl...I need to invest in a dremel or something if I do this again xD

 

Hit a few rough spots along the way with her eyelashes, and ended up doing them in colored pencil instead of paint like the rest of her eye outline since I'm just not used to the super fine paint brush I picked up for the task. Ah well, next time! This was all after the stain removal I had to do when I forgot to wear gloves during the sanding process. Luckily, my BFF Acetone came to the rescue and took the stains right out.

 

Anyhoo, here she is! Sorry for the lighting but it's already dark here >__o This is like...my second real face-up, and it was a totally different style...so, fun stuff haha.

 

 

I didn't realize her eyes were crooked until I took the pic >__> really need to get some eye putty and a different wig for poor Prima. Her body's still on layaway, though, so I've got some time xD

She is looking great, I love her two tone? eyes, they are lovely, (even if they are crooked)!

Hee hee, it's another grouchy girl like Sprout! Too cute! I am excited to see her completed, I bet she's even cuter with her final wig and a body!
