How do you spend your online DD time?

I've been looking at DD pictures for a couple of years now on Flickr and Den of Angels. Right before I purchased my first one last month I discovered Wolfheinrich's World blog and that brought me here to this forum and then through this forum I just discovered Figure.FM, or FFM as most of you call it. I also enjoy surfing the Volks site, looking at the Limited Models, trying to memorize who is who. Then there's the Marketplace on Den of Angels, the Marketplace here, Mandarake, Y!J and all the other places where you can buy DD related things.

 

For myself I prefer this forum to DoA for DD related things. I'm finding this to be a very friendly and informative place to learn all I can about the DD world, and yes I am obsessed right now So far I'm mainly buying DD items from the DoA Marketplace, but I am starting to buy things here as I become more familiar with this forum.

 

For pictures it's difficult to beat flickr for the amount of pictures from all over the world, but I do love the pictures here on DolfieDreams especially the Photo Stories. I just yesterday discovered FFM and am amazed at the incredible pictures there, also it's interesting to see all the other figures and toys that people photograph and talk about.

 

About buying everything DD related I'm finding plenty of reasonably priced things on the Marketplaces here and DoA. I also like Mandarake for some good bargains, and have just started with Y!J. I'm not all that sure of Y!J though for myself because it seems once all the fees and shipping have been paid you really are not getting all that great of a deal. Am I wrong with that assumption?

About Figure.fm, I'm very new there, but I do know that if you look on the top right of the page and click on Categories you'll see Dolls, click on that and you can find photos and all sorts of things. It looks a bit like Flickr in that you can have contacts and follow people. They also have a marketplace and it looks as if the same people that post here do there as well. I'm sure someone that is more familiar with FFM can tell you more, but that's what I know.

When in the DD mood I come here, post stuff on my blog, ramble on Tumblr, check stuff on the DD Flickr group, go on figure.fm, and on rare occasions go on doll.fm. I managed to find some nice Japanese Dollfie sites that I could actually learn from, also obtaining some nice hidden links here and there.

 

I even go searching through online stores like coolcat, Nightfall, Dollfie World, Volks US, and anything that may help me improve Varakitsu all that much more. Sometimes Vara manages to possess me in her Kitsune manner me loads so I tend to scout deep into the DD community to see what new stuff I can discover. People have loads of awesome content.

Yup! Best to know what's where so you can use resources and to see where the rest of the images are hiding at heh. Oh? Awesome! Been hit with another urge to take images so I just might do so. That's if cooperates enough for Vara, and possibly Renge, or someone else this time .

 

Forgot to note that I also post at Dolls of Ottawa forum. Neat Ottawa has a community for doll owners with a growing Dollfie group. Wish I could say the same for my Busou Shinki side for Ottawa.
