Jezrah Posted January 6, 2014 It was such a sunny and windless day last Friday that I just had to take pictures. Especially since I had just finished knitting a whole set for Lydia to wear. The snow seems to have put Lydia into a good mood. Lydia: My look how much it snowed overnight. I love the snow. Lydia: I think I'll build a snowman. L: The snow is deeper than I thought. It's nearly up to my knees! L: First we roll a ball... L: Then we pat it into shape... L: And eventually we have a snowman! He's a little small, though. This snow would be better for skiing than snowman making. L: What should I do now? L: Oh, I know! I'll make a snow angel! L: Did it come out pretty? L: Well, that was fun. I wish the weather could be this nice every day.

Bouncing_Tigger Posted January 6, 2014 I am totally impressed that you can knit mittens small enough for a DD!! I have trouble with knitting 'people-sized' ones and yours look perfect in minature!! Wonderful job on your wintery story!!
Jezrah Posted January 6, 2014 Ahaha, the snow angel photos are the best thing ever! What a great idea! I love how nicely her outfit matches her eyes, her lilac coloring is perfect for wintry activities. Thanks. She got all wet making those photos, but it was worth it. And everything dried out ok after a few hours. Yeah, even though I changed her personality/story away from the original Melty, she still retains certain elements, like that she likes the cold. So I figured blue and white would look good on a winter girl. I am totally impressed that you can knit mittens small enough for a DD!! I have trouble with knitting 'people-sized' ones and yours look perfect in minature!! Wonderful job on your wintery story!! Haha thanks. I actually really like knitting doll sized things. I get bored too fast on people sized clothing. Thanks again.

baldylox Posted January 7, 2014 Such wonderful photos! I love seeing DD's out having fun in the snow! She looks like she's having an excellent time too, so many things to do! The little snowman made me smile wide too, the eyes and nose look like tiny M&M's! Too cute! It's great seeing your girl out there having fun, she was certainly dressed well for the outing. She looks snuggly warm! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
Innocentsake Posted January 7, 2014 Lydia is so beautiful I absolutely love the wig you have on her which goes well with all the blues she is wearing. I bet it was quite cold while taking these photos, but they turned out so lovely so who cares Glad everything dried up after a couple hours~

sleepywolf Posted January 7, 2014 Looks like Lydia had tons of fun! Snowmen and snowangels are a given when there's snow Really like the cool-ish color combination of the wig and clothes with the snow. Jezrah Posted January 7, 2014 A beautiful and fun set of photos. Fantastic work! *thumbs up* Thanks. We definitely had fun making them. Such wonderful photos! The little snowman made me smile wide too, the eyes and nose look like tiny M&M's! Too cute! It's great seeing your girl out there having fun, she was certainly dressed well for the outing. She looks snuggly warm! Yes, we definitely had fun. Ha, the snowman does look like he's wearing M&M's doesn't he? They're actually buttons. And Lydia was definitely warm, probably more so than me even though she was the one in the snow. Lydia is so beautiful I absolutely love the wig you have on her which goes well with all the blues she is wearing. I bet it was quite cold while taking these photos, but they turned out so lovely so who cares Glad everything dried up after a couple hours~ Thanks. I love that wig, but I'm not actually sure where it's from since I bought it from a friend. It was cold, but it's worse now. The sun was out that day, and it was about 20º out, but now it's in the single digits so it was comparatively warm. Her snowman was wonderful and I love the snow angel photo's Thanks. The snow was really flufffy and hard to pack together, but we did the best we could. Looks like Lydia had tons of fun! Snowmen and snowangels are a given when there's snow Really like the cool-ish color combination of the wig and clothes with the snow. Of course sowmen and snow angels are a given! Especially since they make a good photo op. Thank you, though, that's what I was going for by dressing her like that.
