Volks announces new Dollfie line

I had another thought, maybe its a tan line of girls. Lots of my resin collector friends are going nuts for tan bjd's but im just throwing it out there... ^-^""

 

Tan dolls do really need more love and I am especially fond of tan characters! but I am afraid it may not be it since Volks said it is going to be a whole new line. Maybe it could be a new option part in the future instead? That would be nice still though!

Volks confirmed they will release the next Volks News in February, but there are no mentions of the new product. Lets see what pops up!

I was talking to Hide-san (New Manager of Volks USA) and I asked him if he had customers in Japan asking for Vinyl Boys when he worked at the showroom in Akihabara. He said that they have had many people ask for this to happen. When Asuna had come out he mentioned that many people wanted a Kirito Doll to go along with Asuna. Would be nice if this possible new line could be Vinyl Boys

 

And while I wish they would come out with tan parts for DDs it still seems unlikely. In Japan it is all about pale skin which is why semi-white did very well over there. Kayo-san (Former Manager of Volks USA) had told me how tan skin just wasn't popular in Japan. Though maybe one day they will change their minds~

I don't think tan skin will be the new line, if they want to introduce it they most likely will

Follow the same pattern they did with semi-white skin. It was hinted last year we may get a tan skin alna for summer during the akihabara festival. Any other dolls like hibiki would be an awesome bonus. I have no good guesses as of now, need some of hints in the dd blog, or an obvious announcement in the next volks news.

My guess would be a fantasy line in resin.

~ Doll Chateau has their many spindly creatures

~ Loongsoul has centaurs

~ Iplehouse has vampires, demons, and pixies

It seems strange that Volks is one of the few major BJD companies to not have a serious fantasy line (outside of a few elf-ear releases from forever ago), when all of their competition is jumping on the bandwagon.

If you read the EDIT-note in the first post you'll see that some in the staff have been telling people that this line and the new SD line is not the same(discussed earlier in the topic also).
