Hi from Italy!

 

I'm Debora, female, 26 years old, wannabe illustrator, half seamstress , half webdesigner and a bit postproducer, and i'm really really bad at introducing myself

 

My passions (sometimes also works) are drawing and illustration, sewing and historical dresses, graphic and webdesign, everything that's beautiful, playing JRpg, reading manga & anime, reading historical books and music.

 

I've observed from afar the dollfie's world in the past years through casual encounters , usually connected to the Gothic Lolita world, on Deviantart and other communities with photos and works related to it, but i've never had the economic chance to buy one, so it remained a far away dream to have or maybe to see one in person.

 

Lately my boyfriend Pharaviel, also member of this forum, surprised me starting to become interested in this subject and bought a dollfie so i've (re)started to become interested in the dollfie's universe , going deeper in the knowledges and in the topics, for curiosity and for being , possibly, helpful on some matters like sewing or painting , and here i am!

 

A week ago i registered here and started reading and browsing people 's topics, shops , tutorial and on, trying to understand and learn as much as i can ; for this reason, and also for not being the "forum talkative type" i will be usually silently browsing the forum , however nice to meet you all, many of your dollfies and customizations are really beautiful, i envy your skills

Which Dollfie did you purchase? Do you sew historical dresses for dolls or people? If for dolls, it would be great if you could post and sell your work in the Members Custom Items Shops. At the very least it would nice to see your sewing and painting work in any form.

Actually i don't have a Dollfie myself, i have not money to purchase one, my boyfriend Pharaviel bought a Dollfie Dream Sister some days ago and we're waiting for her arrival.

 

For now i've sewn mainly dresses and cosplay for people, i've done a couple of very easy dresses for a doll-sized project, but nothing in the standard to be sold or to be shown since i made them without making a pattern, i'm waiting my bf dollfie also to try to sew some dresses for her , if the results will be "decent" i will show them

Pharaviel ha già prenotato la mia ultima slot per far face un faceup alla sula doll quando la riceverà... dopodiché prenderò una pausa di un paio di mesi per occuparmi dello studio (dovrei laurearmi XD) e della Scuola Comics... e concentrarmi un po sulla mia collezione, che ho un po bistrattato ultimamente T^T

Thank you stormyhorse ! Mostly are just things that i learned, i'm really curious about always learning new things, however i'm not a master, unfortunately, in none of them , but i keep practicising

Faccio il corso di Comics 1 da borsista (ho vinto un concorso).

Fa' pure, ma il mio deviantart è morto e sepolto da una cosa tipo 3 anni... ci ho messo solo robaccia vecchissima XD penso che sia il caso di fare un ripulisti generale del mio profilo, o la gente continuerà a basarsi solo sui miei vecchi lavori.
