Another day another silent story.

Finally got a lego box that had eluded me a bit, and thaught id make the most of putting it together.

again intial plans were much grander, but finally settled for just the magical rugrats, Illya and Maria for a cast.

Hope you like...

Adorable! I love watching DDs put things together. I can't decide which photo is my favorite -- Maria's face-palm or the two girls balancing the wing between them.

I don't see a lot of Illyas and Marias around, it's great to be reminded of how cute they are!

Thank you.

This was a fun little shoot that snowballed from that first photo.

I do neglect the little ones a bit due to them being a bit more of a pain to pose, I dont have alternative hands for them and also I dont have much in terms of mdd wardrobe for variety... but still its fun when it all comes together even after a small while.

Thank you very many.

Your ability to tell a story without words is amazing!! Of course, using MDD's is the best part of all! Excellent job!

Heh, why is it that MDD's and Legos go so well together? I loved this! Your ability to tell a story with no words is wonderful and I'm always impressed.

Those two work well together and I like how they didn't get it right on the first try. That added some realism and humor that went a long way.

Congrats on another great set of photos!

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Mm, there are two fumbles on illyas part (no big guesses needed what series iterasion my Illya is based on.. ) although the one in the first picture probably needs a bit closer inspection as to whats up.

I didnt think of making another, but the canopy piece just seemed like a simple enough fumble, I decided to add it and let Maria have her Not again moment.

But it was a fun adlib piece to make, and show the two can also actually do something constructive, instead of just causing spontanic explosions with sideorders of tsundere elfs... heh.

I love it. Telling a story without words is a skill all to itself. Props to you for pulling it off.

Ilya and Maria are so cute playing with legos! and that TIE fighter looks great!

Thank you. Although again have to downplay the skill bit, since it all just snowballed from that first shot.

If if get even more self-critical, it might actually be cheating to leave out the dialogue, since then the audience can come up with their own, so in some minds the girls can be all sweet about it, but in others maybe not so sweet... considering the alternate scripple story moments I recall, heh.

the lego TIE was a pretty nice surprise, especially how big it actually was. Maybe now will have to get a X-wing to go with it, or begin thinking up a custom TIE-interceptor perhaps...

Thanks.

Boxed sets are still rather easy, since its just following instructions.. personally im still in awe at some of the custom creations people come up with.

thank you.

Construction stuff is a fun addition to photos like this.

I have another idea with something else I saw at the store I got this set from, but that might be a bit more challenging to do (plastic kit, thus needs time for glue to set).
