Your Girls' Clothing Tastes?

Sometimes I feel like my girl has found my credit card :/

She's a bit of a tomboy: one of her favourite outfits is a T-shirt, hot pants, kneesocks, sports shoes and a baseball cap

THEY FRICKING CHOOSE THEIR CLOTHING! IT MAKES ME SO MAD!! DX

 

I just got my DD and i was like "Ohhhh cool I already have Doll heart dresses, so she can be lolita too!"

 

NOPE. She doesnt work in lolita! Not at all! She works in the typical anime girl outfits! Short skirts, tshirt, stockings- Nope! No lolita for me! HMMGHH!! Gotta buy all new clothing for this little pain!

Expanding on my post from the first page, since Annie now has a wardrobe... she still only likes expensive clothes. UGH, spoiled girl!

My girls each have their own personalities, so I choose their clothing based on that. I like to imagine what I think they would choose for themselves, and go from there

Mint likes to wear Mori style. I didn't realize it was even called Mori style until after her clothes arrived. All I knew was that I liked the style and it would suit her.

 

Tansy, my incoming girl, will hopefully agree to being dressed in casual clothes in bright and bold colours... if I can really find any of that. I've mostly found casual clothing in neutral colours.

Well, I only have one girl, so she will get to wear a bit of everything I'm sure.

 

That said, she's still quite new to me and has already decided that she doesn't want to be the character I had planned for her to be! Instead I realized she is going to be a lolita. I've actually been wanting a doll that I could make lolita dresses for, but I couldn't imagine any of my resin dolls really wearing the style. Hehe. Penelope on the other hand, is all cuteness, but shy and a bit melancholy looking, so I think it would suit her really well.

I've been lucky so far in that the clothes my girls wear aren't drastically different from each other... yet. :'D So far they all dress in various styles that I wouldn't really wear myself, but I'll eventually start slipping in more punky clothes somewhere....

 

Youmu likes school uniforms& things that are flirty + cute. She's not too picky about clothes, but she does want more room wear clothes + seifuku for everyone... I kind of see her as a high school girl while the others are older, so her style sort of reflects that.

 

Rise is an idol and thus she looks good in everything. I don't know how, but she'll make it work. >__> She's most comfortable in anything cute though. She likes staying covered up more than the other girls, I think she'd be adorable in Mori-kei. Skirts & cardigans seem to be her top picks so far.

 

Saber is surprisingly flexible about what she'll wear, although she prefers to wear more elegant types of clothing. She prefers to be more covered up, but she's not entirely against showing some skin. She might end up being a Classical Lolita if I have enough money to build up her wardrobe.

 

KOSMOS is steadily heading into OL/onee-kei territory. She looks more comfortable in more mature-cute looking clothes rather than the super cutesy clothes I like styling Youmu & Rise in. I'm going to eventually buy/make her a cheongsam.... T u T b Maybe a kimono too, elegant-sexy things u wu~

Rise has a bit of a mixed style. I envisioned her as a cutesy, anime girl and that's how she turned out to be. She tends to wear 3-4 kind of styles depending on her mood :

 

- Lolita. One of her first outfits is a Lolita outfit and she loves dressing up in it.

- Cosplay, eventho I don't really have any completed cosplay outfits.

- Cutesy/pink outfits. She loves Kuraikawai's shirts.

- Casual chic. This is her when she can't be bothered to spend a lot of time on her looks.

I would love to dress mine in the Lolita fashion since many of my other girls are more Mori.

Although there are some pretty sexy outfits that suit the body really well. So I think her outfits are going to be more extravagant and less casual x

My DD girl likes any style from casual to sexy. The style I love most are sexy maid dresses, Bunny- & Cat-girl and schooluniform.

I find that I usually look for my dolls to have a specific style in the beginning, but they end up deciding what they want and don't want to wear themselves .

Almost everyone here likes hime gyaru or himekaji style...

Except Yumi and Sinon. I have a feeling Sinon will tolerate some frills when she's not running around playing GGO (Shino mode) but I still might get bitten. Yumi constantly reminds me she's a badass ninja and frills are not badass but then she goes all out ageha when there's an undercover mission so I think she secretly likes pink and frills. Shino/n and Yumi have their jeans and t shirts and the occasional goth thing for Yumi but Kotone is Queen and calls the shots on what is acceptable to wear so skimpy pink frills for everyone. All the limiteds prefer their default outfits at all times tho. Also Yumi will only wear practical shoes and Kotone will only wear the highest heels she can find. Emily is happy with anything she can play in. Maybe because she's six. Six year olds don't know much about fashion.

I am lucky that my girl is just happy wearing whatever pleases me xD

 

Miku just wears everything under the sun Well, she wears whatever I feel looks cute, and she's happy that she "looks cute for Master" (lol). One of the things I love is how versatile she is when it comes to clothes since she enjoys really wearing anything at all as long as I think it looks cute (versus my BJDs who some would hate me for dressing them in certain ways), though because of that I end up buying her a ton of clothes, which I wonder sometimes if that's her main goal in the end (lol).

Amber is a cosplay girl. That's just the kind of thing which attracts my attention and tugs on my wallet. She has a bunnysuit, a ren faire outfit, two types of maid outfits, and something I call her victorian dress. Nearly all her shoes and boots have high heels. She only has a couple of things which could be considered casual clothes. And every bottom part is a dress, not a single pair of pants in her wardrobe so far. And most of what is calling to my wallet now is gothic lolita style.

 

Right now she is dressed in the top elements of the Tree Fairy outfit and the red skirt of of her "victorian dress". I call it my poor man's Lady Wizard set.

 

Oh well, Amber is thoroughly impractical. I imagine she will continue to be that way for a while.

I dress my dolls in pretty much anything I find that happens to be cute. Since I'm not all that imaginative, that usually ends up being fairly similar to my own fashion sense- soft and frilly, often lolita outfits in either pastels or neutral tones. My HDD04/MDD is the exception- her "character" is a Christmas spirit, so she's always in wintry, festive clothing.

My first girl Lilac is basically a gothic/elegant lolita, my second one Iris is a wa-lolita /qi- lolita, my third one Primrose is a elegant grown women in modern dresses mostly and my fourth one, the new arrival in my family, Amaryllis being a little one will be probably in sailor /lolita sailor outfits .

However all of them like kimonos, yukata and steampunk so, who knows what they will wear (when i will be able to sew more for them poor girls )
