Hiatus

I know there's a number of people here waiting for me to ship things out.

I'm sorry for the wait but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

 

It's been pretty much the worst week ever starting with my dad ending up in the hospital from getting a concussion. After a few days being with him in the hospital, I got sick myself. So now I'm a sick person taking care of a sicker person and there is nothing else that can be done right now except for taking care of my father.

 

I am overwhelmed and I am so sorry for those that are expecting things from me but they will have to wait. Thanks for your understanding.

Commissions/Sales items can definitely wait. Your health as well as the health of your father is much more important. Take time to get better & to care for your father while he recovers from his concussion. When the dust has settled you can get back to everything else

I'm so sorry to hear this! Struggling with the health of a parent is tough enough, but then to get sick yourself is like "kicking you when you are already down!" Take care of yourself and your father! That's what is most important. Everything else will all work itself out over time and, if there are those who don't understand, then pfffft to them because they are just ! Thinking of you and hoping things soon take a turn for the better!!

As others have said, your health and your family should absolutely be your first priorities. Get as much rest as possible (which, obviously isn't easy when caring for someone else). Hopefully things start improving for you soon, I know SK and I have been thinking about you.

My father is doing well now and has been discharged from the hospital. He was able to back to work for the first time yesterday and I'm very happy. He's still not functioning at his best but he is certainly much better than before.

 

As for me, I tried to keep my life as normal as possible but it seems nearly impossible. At least during this weekend, I was able to attend a convention to draw at. Here are some of my happy customers:

But as I was in the hospital and convention all last week, these two places are the #1 places to get sick and of course, I now have the flu. In comparison to the hell I've had last week, having the flu almost seems as good as a trip to Disneyland.

Glad to hear you and your father are both doing better. At least the flu makes a great excuse to just rest and relax for a couple days. Also glad to see that you were able to do something fun in the midst of all the turmoil. Anyways, rest up so you can make more art.

You and SK are saints! I really took your cheering from here and twitter to heart.

So glad to hear about your Dad being on the mend but no surprise that you got sick by going to the hospital! I feel the same way about going to the doctor. I hate it because everyone there is sick!!! Talk about a real germ factory!! As mentioned, this is the perfect excuse to cuddle up in bed and rest...of course, a laptop in bed with you and Wifi so you can surf the DD forum would make it a perfect mini-vacation!! Just be sure to take care of yourself! Excellent drawings, by the way!

Hello! Just to let everyone know Nekopon has unfortunately taken a turn for the worst and is isn't feeling very good at the moment, she is focusing on resting and getting better. If you are awaiting anything from her be it an email or an item please be aware of this. I'm sure you will agree with me that her health should come first she will of course get back to you as soon as she is physically fit !

Don't worry about the 'on and off' thing...just take care of yourself! Sometimes it takes a while to get over this newest "bug" and just when you think you finally have it beat, it sneaks up on you again! Rest, relax, and recuperate and don't even think about anything else!!
