Pico8059 Posted February 8, 2014 Long story short I bought a MDD body with a broken piece, thinking I could fix it with some epoxy putty, but turns out it's beyond my ability. I'm looking for either someone with a 3D printer to make new pieces, or someone with the skill to repair it. The dollies have my wallet!
Jezrah Posted February 8, 2014 Did you try plastic weld glue, rather than putty? Like this kind of stuff. It works well on DD skeleton breaks. And maybe you could drill tiny holes and insert a pin for added strength? Just a thought, although I've never tried it myself.

shinegamix Posted February 8, 2014 it looks like someone already tried to do some repairs. i can see the surface of the peg hasnt been properly sanded down. it isnt straight flat. cant expect it to make a firm bond then. making my triumphant return
Catli Posted August 2, 2014 There is lego abs plastic repair method, it use acetone & lego shaving as a binder. basically paint it on & hold them firmly.
