Is there any information about the DD Mirai Suenaga ?

I know the smart doll will be sold in 2015, but how about the normal DD？

 

Danny Choo seems didn't say any thing about it in Wonder Festival 2014 Winter?

Last I heard, the non-robotic version had a release date of March 2014 but no further details have been given since then.

Really? There will be dd mirai suenaga? I remember reading an article that mirai suenaga doll will be released in malaysia first? Danny's dad place of birth..

Wasn't the talk about a DD Mirai just wishful thinking from Danny? I remember vaguely that he contacted Volks but that didn't go anywhere so he created/continued with his Mirai(the non-smartdoll).

The only collaboration between Mirai and Volks I've known so far was that she became one of the company mascots. She'll be appearing in Volks uniform in mass-media for pure marketing purposes. This is same with all the collabs with Lawson or Kinokuniya. I don't think these collabs indicate Mirai is having a product selling at convenient store or a book to be published anytime soon. Therefore, Volks collab doesn't mean Mirai is being released as a DD.

 

Regarding Danny's upcoming doll, I think you might misunderstand the concept here because Mirai doll was never called Dollfie Dream, at least till now. And my guess is she won't be ever officially called DD anyway due to copyrights. Mirai is Danny's character and DD is exclusively used for Volks doll. Mirai might be popular internationally but Japan wise, she's not popular enough for Volks to make a character out of her. Danny once mentioned he started his own doll line because no doll company (Volks?) were interested in the character. This is very true so far as Danny always introduced his Mirai doll as 60cm vinyl doll.
