Snapshot Days: My 52 Week Photo Challenge

Inspired by the many photo challenges on the Interwebz, I've decided to challenge myself to take at least one photo a week of my girls/boys and post them on my blog (and here for the DDs). I have no themes, and am not limiting myself to just one doll or one photo. I can do as many as I like but must have at LEAST one that I will post here and on my blog on a Monday. Since I seem to be having trouble with this schedule, I've bumped it down to a MORE REALISTIC option of not designating a week. Phew. Saved me a lot of stress that did. Now I just have to post a weekly photo and not on a specific day because RL just doesn't always cooperate.

 

Hopefully this inspires me to do more. I've neglected my cuties long enough as it is.

That's a great idea to keep you busy with your girls and keep in touch with them too. I'd like to do something similar since I've had issues managing my time for my girls lately. I need to get back into the swing of taking their pics again!

Thanks Billy. I really want to be able to have some time for the girls as I've been neglecting them. I figured if I can do photos of food, I should have time to do this for my DDs and resins.

Oh, I hope so. We can never have enough photos of our girls. I really love Nyanko sensei and have been trying to get my hands on a plushie of him from HLJ but no success so far. Might have to turn to evilBay for it if I still can't get one.

Thanks. I thought about themes too but with 2 kids, one of them a baby, I have limited time to set up stuff so I'm just going with taking at least one photo. You could say my theme, if any, is photos around the house.

OMG you did it! I swear my nose literally almost DID start bleeding at the last photo! Granted I've only had that happen once, but oh my, what a shock you had hiding at the top of the second page! *ahem* It is a really lovely photo too.

 

Ok, now getting my thoughts back on track... You have been doing this for weeks and I had no idea? I knew I had been kinda outta the loop because of work, but now I feel horribly guilty. I can't wait to see what other pictures pop up. The one of Millie is adorable (as always!) and reminds me of running my fingers over our brown rug as a toddler. Makes my fingertips tickle just thinking about it.

 

I don't really have a specific day that I have to have photos taken, but my DD pics are sorted by the month so I can easily see if I've been keeping up on the snapshots. The months with very few are hard to deal with, because it means I was seriously too busy to take them, or my depression had set in pretty severely and I couldn't deal with it. My bigger problem is not regular photos, but getting around to catching up on photo stories that are 1+ years overdue. How many of them there are backlogged is just daunting.

 

I have been really wanting to see more of your family for a long time so I'm looking forward to the future photos!

Thanks SK. I am so glad you liked it. I too get a everytime I see these two. Kaylus is just such a good looking boy and Marius/Mari is too cute. Like I said on the blog, I've been re-reading Ouran so I just can't help squealing at these two together. I didn't even question how it happened. Maybe Marius was dreaming? LOL.

 

I'm trying very hard to keep up with my weekly photos so that even if I can't do a photostory, I can at least give my dolliehs some love. I also don't have a specific day for a photo, it can be any day during the week but I do at least try to make sure I post it on a Monday. This one of Kaylus and Marius I actually did ON a Monday since I realised I hadn't taken any doll photos during the week. That was how busy I was with our taxes. I'm hoping I can keep at this even when I go back to work which isn't for a few more months yet.

 

Anyway, we are all looking forward to seeing the store open. The t-shirts I've seen are all so cute we can't wait for what else we can see at once Naiomi's Closet opens.

Hahaha! Actually this was part of a photostory showing her stalking a baby zebra but I haven't had time to post it yet. But the cake thing works too. lol

Thanks Raven. I'm trying to include her in the pictures while she's still at the "I'll just look at you and not chew you stage" LOL. Once she starts reaching, the girls will have to take a step back, more so when she starts crawling.

I don't know what there isn't to love about that pic. Cuteness piled on top of cuteness with awesome lighting, it is a perfect photo all the way around.
