littlebearries Posted August 15, 2011 Does anyone else here collect Mamachapp? Twig: Should I eat the donut? Twig: I SHOULD!!!
littlebearries Posted August 15, 2011 I do have serious questions if there are other collectors though, like where do you buy clothes, and shoes? Rement seems to work perfectly for accessories.
mitsuki Posted August 15, 2011 She is so cute! I don't have Mamachapps, but I think Volks EB minis might be a similar size. Rement is great for accessories. My EB minis wear Bratz clothing. Shoes are kind of hard to find. I have a few Barbie shoes that work pretty well. A lot of them just don't wear shoes.

The Volks minis have some AWESOME bags, I'm going to have to buy some for Twig She *kind of* fits into this Blythe shirt, and she fits into Barbie hats and these Barbie Dorothy Ruby Slippers... but she sure as heck can't stand in those slippers, the heels aren't long enough for her to balance.. of course, looking at them on the Barbie, I'm not sure she could stand in them either. littlebearries Posted August 21, 2011 You can find them on ebay and Mandarake... but on Mandarake you have to search Mamachapp then copy the Japanese for it and repaste that in the search or you don't find much! ... Mamachapp.... are insanely expensive.
juu-yuki Posted August 21, 2011 I think this is the first time I've seen one. How tall are they? They are so cuteee~ http://juu-yuki.com Dolly Shop: http://www.lizanna.com

jun97 Posted August 24, 2011 They are super cute!Where do you buy them from? You can also go to the mamachapp website http://www.mamachapp.com/ and wait for them to announce new ones for preorder. You will still need a deputy service, but they cost around 12k yen this way.

You will still need a deputy service, but they cost around 12k yen this way. Or you can have Jun97 constantly hammer you with links and pics and saying "Isn't this one CUTE?? You should buy her. Like now. Before you can't get her anymore. DO IT!" Not that *I* have had him do that to me or anything..... Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. mitsuki Posted August 24, 2011 Jun97 is doing it for our own good. Although research on the therapeutic effects of Mamachapps is still a new field, there is a clear indication that they and other small dolls are beneficial.
jun97 Posted August 24, 2011 I knew there was a reason I kept bugging Baldylox about it.
littlebearries Posted August 25, 2011 Oh good! I had no idea you could preorder them... and then maybe I'll have a chance at the new 11cm ones!!! Or for that matter, the ones pictured with them. Jun97... what shopping service to you recommend? I've never used one before.

Although research on the therapeutic effects of Mamachapps is still a new field, there is a clear indication that they and other small dolls are beneficial. Ahh, I see now. So he is a leader in this new field of research. Had he just said so before, it would have made things much easier. But I'm still not falling for his enabling on these just yet. I knew there was a reason I kept bugging Baldylox about it. You mean other than the hilarity of watching me squirm? Research is important tho so I'll let this slide for now. That still doesn't mean I'm buying any MC girls..... Jun97... what shopping service to you recommend? I've never used one before. If you mean a deputy service, I'm not sure which one he uses but I use Shopping Mall Japan and have had no problems with them at all. They seem to be easy to communicate with and keep things updated well. You do have to give them money up front but it's worth it if you are hard pressed to find stuff that's not on ebay and only on YJA. littlebearries Posted August 25, 2011 I will check them out... also... Jun97... about how long do the preorders stay up for?
jun97 Posted August 25, 2011 The preorder period is usually open for 2 weeks, and it takes 5-6 months to receive your doll. Last time I ordered on 1/20 and got my mamachapps on 5/27. Here is a link to an old preorder page (in japanese) http://www.mamachapp.com/tin-a2y-oyak-u.html. Basically, they require a form to be submitted, and sent to them in an envelope along with payment, and postmarked by a certain date. I had to check with my deputy service first if they would do it for me. They have new ones for preorder every 3 months or so. I just check their website from time to time. New dolls are announced a few weeks before the actual preorder date starts.
