baldylox Posted February 15, 2014 Last weekend we had a sewing meet here at my place and there was actual sewing happening! Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of all that nonsense.... I just got pics of the other antics going on! And one of the main events we got to witness was AsianEd's Penguin of Doom! That darn thing was a soul sucking monstrosity! I never thought that silly Volks penguin thing would be as big or as funny as it turned out to be! We had WAY more fun with it than should be legal. And thank you about Mamimi! I agree that she hasn't gotten a lot of attention lately in my photos but I'll be sure to change that since she deserves more attention than she gets. Mari's outfit is one of the Volks ones I was too scared to dress my girls in until DefectiveAngel told me it didn't stain any of her girls. I was really happy to hear that so I immediately put Mari in it to show her off a bit. And yes, we did have a great time! Ah! so that's what those blue eyes look like. Was thinking about grabbing those kinds of eyes. I really like those eyes so if you're after them too, now you can rest assured they'll look good! The meet looks like it was loads of fun. And when I saw that, the DBZ Fusion Dance jumped into my head so I kind of HAD to do it. And this!Minako - "Hey mister, what's THAT?" Tank - "PLEASE go away before we BOTH get in trouble!" Heh, poor Tank. He was nekkid the whole meet because his owner was making him some pants. So inquisitive Minako decided to go see why her sister Manami liked this guy so much. And these guys look interesting. They're resin? Yep! The hair is resin too and they can swap out faceplates as well so they have a bunch of different expressions available. I can't recall who makes them tho, sorry. But I liked the stylized look of them, they're vastly different from most male resins I see. Too bad you missed your Kobato, she was quite the adorable one. Tell Tank he owes you now for making you miss seeing her in person. I guess easier to please the customers XD You have no idea how happy you made me and Becca. To see the spark return to Manami's face made me super happy! And Becca was extremely excited about her two girls getting done. She's already named them both and her body for the 04 head Emiko finally arrived here yesterday so she'll be getting that soon. She still has to get a body for the Obitsu head but for now it's sitting on my WS MDD body. I wouldn't say that we're easy to please tho, I just think that you knew what we wanted and like and were able to make that happen. But I'm very glad you had fun doing the heads! Feel free to do that whenever we have a meetup here since the garage seemed like a good spot for you to work on them. Also super happy too with Midori's wig. It fits her so well, keeps her looking androidy without going overboard. >:3 I'm really, REALLY surprised at how PERFECT her wig turned out! I can't thank you enuff for helping me get those curls out and trimming it for me. I totally agree that it works well on Midori and isn't over the top in style or color.
