So many cute girls!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on this board for a while now and thought it was time to introduce myself. I'm originally from Canada but live in Japan now--and got into the doll hobby through lolita fashion. While I only have resin girls now, I love looking at the super pretty lolita (and other) outfits modelled by the cuties owned by the members here.

 

I never thought about owning a DD before, but Hatsune Miku caught my eye. I've always liked her character and colour scheme. I even went to the mini event at my local Volks store to see Miku in RL. I was sorely tempted to order her right then and there! but was stopped by protests from my wallet. So I'll just enjoy looking at everyone's lovely daughters in the meantime.

 

Everyone seems friendly and fun on this board, and even without a DD of my own, I'd like to join in on the discussion.

Oni-Chan » I don't know too much about all the different DDs out there yet, but I like looking at all of them so far! You are lucky to have a Miku on order--I'm looking forward to seeing non-default Mikus on this board.

 

Konapi » Yay for lolita style! A long time ago when I actually wore lolita, I mostly had gothloli and a bit of classical, but I love all lolita styles. Especially sweet, decololi and fairy-kei. What style do you like?

aiRreyes » I think both lolita and anime are great ways to get into dolls. I'm in Nagoya, and if you're in the neighbourhood, give me a shout! There isn't much here compared to places like Kyoto or Tokyo, but there is a Volks shop and another doll shop with Azone etc.
