Shiny marks on sealed/faceup DD head? (Updated w/photo)

I wanted to address this here as I have contacted the faceup artist about this...

 

I have only taken my Rise out 3 times since getting her back. She has some shiny marks on her forehead Anybody have an explanation? Is the wig scratching?

Do you have a photo of it? Does it look like streaks?

I've had this issue with some of my dolls, especially with those that have non-factory face-ups. I think it's a rub in the sealant... I've never seen it caused by a wig, but I've definitely caused a shiny scratched by an errant fingernail as I'm putting on or taking off a wig. Or it can be caused if you have a scratchier wig cap that you're pulling over her forehead?

Hmm, sealant on face-ups can get smoothed out (-buffed so it's shiny) by the fabric of clothes when you dress a doll a lot (often on the nose). I'm not sure if that's the case here. Maybe ask what kind of sealant the artist used. I've seen some unfortunate dolls that were sealed with gloss or semi-gloss sealant.

I'll take a photo tonight It's like shiny streaks. I had a similar issue with a custom face up on my previous Dollfie Dream head.

 

It might not be the wig since the streaks start from just about the eyebrows It's prominent at night so since daylight is coming to a close I can probably get good photos after my exam soon.

 

The face up artist said she would seal and regloss the faceup for me. I felt like I tried to be super duper careful with her head, but agh

Okay, here's a not so great photo. In between her brows you can see a shiny mark. Those marks are just on the left side of her forehead. I'm sure a wig will cover them, but I love this face up and I want to preserve it for as long as possible

From that photo it looks like pearl ex powder...
