K-2 Posted February 28, 2014 You could get the Belldandy SD without the goddess marks? BLASPHEMY!
archangeli Posted February 28, 2014 You could get the Belldandy SD without the goddess marks? BLASPHEMY! She doesn't come with them painted on by default. She comes with 3 sets of decals (in case you screw up? o_0") for her face. i was wondering did anybody that ordered a bell from volks international, get the option to have her face decals permanently attached and coated over? I didn't realize this was an option, or maybe I would have done it. However it it counts as an extra service (like sanding, sueding, etc.) there was probably a fee, and additional delay for labour and shipping. I was quite pleased that she came with 2 sets of hands. Her regular hands, and her hands clasped together in prayer. I was worried that they would be a special order item @_@ Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli

PrettyCranium Posted March 2, 2014 How do you apply the decals? I tracked them down for my DD Belldandy (custom) and I've never used waterslide decals before. Is there a trick to it?
shinegamix Posted March 2, 2014 How do you apply the decals? I tracked them down for my DD Belldandy (custom) and I've never used waterslide decals before. Is there a trick to it? ow its water slide thats even worse. soak them not long enough they stick partly to the paper soak them too long they desintegrate... but the theory is soak till paper is all wet. take it out and put it next to tranferable object. then use a blunt toothpick(or at least not the tip) to slide onto face finally blot it down with a cotton tip stick thingy. then let it dry further. and remember to never ever touvh it. finger pressure sometimes break it down too making my triumphant return

Can you slide them around to get in the proper position, or do they stick wherever you put them first?
Poofiemus Posted March 3, 2014 It looks like you can slide them a bit, at least initially: Though I will say, I haven't actually used water slides yet, so hopefully someone who has can verify how common this behavior is. (Super extra bonus points for any word on if you need to adjust your techniques for a dry climate. Seriously, where I live can get ridiculously dry, to the point where MSC basically dries on contact most of the time.) I don't have Belldandy, but I do have Miku incoming, so I too would appreciate any tips so I don't get too tense when putting her arm number thingy on. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.
yokha Posted March 3, 2014 Eep, nervous about doing this! Can you slide them around to get in the proper position, or do they stick wherever you put them first? I've been using water slide decals for my obitsu dolls before, and if the decals still wet you can slide it until it get to the proper position, do it gently and make sure not tearing it, after its dry seal it with sealant. Sorry for my broken english.

Sorry for my bad english.
BeyondTime Posted December 3, 2016 Sorry to rez an old topic, but I have a Belldandy incoming. I am wondering if anyone used a decal fixer like Micro-sol on her to make the decal permanent? I know it's supposed to be safe for plastic models and paint finishes, but I don't want to mess up the MSC coats on her face. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction
