Pearbear's New Look? Arietta Eyes Test Shots!

I'm trying to find a new look for Pear! I recently bought a bunch of eyes from Arietta Project, and I decided to give them a try.

 

First, her "original" look with Volks F-Type Bright Green Wakaba eyes:

 

 

A different green option, with Arietta T-06 in Teal:

 

 

 

Arietta's Momo-Style in Grey has a pink-violet center:

 

 

 

Arietta's Momo-Style in Blue has a vivid purple center:

 

 

 

Lastly, Arietta's T-02 in Cyan reminds me of a deep ocean blue:

 

 

 

I can't quite decide which pair should be her look! I'm not too concerned about her having green eyes -- after all, Lime has pale gold eyes and Apple has golden-brown eyes. What do you think? Which pair works best for Pear?

I like them all, but I 'REALLY' love the teal and cyan! I also adore the wig your Pearbear has on in the first pic (love the mixture of different colors!)

I love the last two pairs. They're very cute.

They all look good but I believe the Teal and the Cyan one are particulary beautiful!

I think that the Arietta T-06 in Teal look the nicest. I do suggest you tip them in towards the nose bridge a bit more for two reasons - so her focus doesn't look like it's diverging slightly (think of the opposite of cross eyed!) and also so it eliminates some of that white space.

 

My second favourite choice are Arietta's Momo-Style in Blue. Though I debate if they're too dark.

After the 7 colored carrot, I think a fruit or vegetable can be any color.

 

I love the Arietta T-06 in Teal eyes. She is so cute in all the styles though.

Pearbear looks so lovely in all of the eyes you purchased from Arietta Project! My #1 favorite is the Momo Style in Blue (Vivid Purple Center) and #2 is the T-06 in Teal. To me both of those colors match up with her oh so cute name

Thank you! It's an nDoll wig; I was totally heartbroken when they went out of business. They made the most gorgeous wigs with really heavy, thick fiber and fabulous color mixes. If I ever find another company like them, I'll shout it from the rooftops. I think Licht is the closest I've found in terms of quality color mixes?

You're absolutely welcome! I'm so happy with all of the eyes, it was fun sharing the excitement of waiting for our orders together in the Arietta thread. Another point for the cyan eyes! The color is really rich and highly saturated. There ombre from dark to light is a little grainy up close, but is totally unnoticeable when they're in a doll. I bet this style in any color is going to be gorgeous. You'll have to post photos if you order a pair!

Hmm, cyan and teal definitely seem to be the clear favorite! I was wondering the same thing about the Momo-style; there's quite a lot of black and near-black in the upper half of the eye. I wonder if I tried different lighting, to catch more of the color, they would have a bit more "pop" to them.

I've been using fruit names for all my DDS girls (Apple, Lime, Teaberry, Pear) but maybe the next one should be Carrot!

 

I think it's really hard to go wrong when picking eyes for an 06... they're always so cute!

Thank you! I'm so glad you introduced me to Arietta! They're definitely at the top of my list for DD eyes. I'm glad to hear that you also like the Momo-style! I have a total weakness for bi-colored eyes.

 

I have to admit, I can't take credit for Pearbear. I named her Pear (actually Peardale), but my best friend started calling her Pearbear and it totally stuck. Maybe she should hang out with Melon? They could name their band the Fruit Cups!
