Hello! :'D

I just joined and this is my first post! I'm so excited about this community, I'm so eager to meet new people and see all your beautiful dolls!

I'm 23, i live in Stockholm and I've been into the resin-Bjd-hobby since '07 and i have 12 resin dollies. But, I'v finally decided to venture into the world of dollfie dream. I'v always thought them to be super adorable but my resinkiddos stole all my monies XD But then I decided that i needed one more expensive hobby and I've begun planning for my first DD!

In 26 days I'll leave for Tokyo and i thought that trip would be the perfect start to my DD adventure. I really hope to be able to buy my first doll there, since i think that would be a supercool thing. First doll from first time in Tokyo! haha :'D But I've never really understood if the tenshi no sumika acctually sell whole DD's o.O

I think the first DD i want is a standard Yukino or a Miyu, i find them both supersweet :'')

I would be super happy to meet new friends and share creativity and info, so if anyone wanna talk please talk to me :'D

More Swedes are always welcome!

Maybe when you have your first DD you can join us in one of our monthly Stockholm meetups!

Hello,

I'm newly joined here as well and new to owning a DD Yukino (original release). I can say her stock photos do her no justice at all (they make her seemed bored or lost in thought), seeing her in person she has a warm happy feel to her. Well at least to me

I have never been to Japan but have had lots of experience with second hand shops in Japan when buying figures or 1/6 related dolls. As many others may suggest...please check out a Mandarake. They normally have some older DDII or DDIII models for reasonable prices most are used but you can get new ones there as well. Jungle will be an overpriced shop but may have more rare older dollfies. Volks shop no clue, but I'm sure someone here on the forum could answer that one

Always a pleasure to see more Swedes joining the forum.

And as Suiseiseki4life said, Mandarake usually has a whole lot of character DD in stock in their stores around Tokyo, but if you're interested in the standard models, Volks is most likely to sell them at their own store.

From what I've come to understand, they usually try to have them in stock so chances are big they'll be available when you're there too.
