Wig tryouts with Kira

Decided to take a few shots with wigs with the request oni-chan made for a DDH06 and silver or grey wigs.

 

Only 06 in the house is Kira, who's a bit of a wild one.

Thank you. Personally was surprised about the shots with illya wig of how well that worked, and why I ended up taking more than one pose with that.

 

Perhaps with slightly more normal red eyes might have passed Kira off as a Irisviel mock-up.. heh.

Thank you and no problems, this sort of thing was rather fun actually, and got me off my lazy butt to try something new, sine I had actually decided on making kira use a red wig by default.

I must say that she looks great in all of them but my personal favourites are definitely the Charcoal grey twin tails and the short bob in platinum white...though I do like Melty's wig on her, too!

Those two are nice, but also the most unweildy to use. The coolcat twintail thing is really heavy, making posing a bit iffish, and the old volks short bobs that I have, despite having that fun 50's and 60's vibe are a bit offsided and the hairs want to stick out on one side, although this platinum one has settled down a bit after being on a doll with a rubberband around it for about a year. -- Guess goes to confirm that old saying, no style without pain.. heh.

Thanks, that perticular one is very nice how it flows, and is very silky to the touch, although perhaps a bit delicate, I think its shed a few strands already so will have to see about durability.
