Lucy (in her best David Attenborough imitation): I'm in the pursuit of what appears to be a rare species of equine... Lucy: This particular species is, I believe, the offspring of one of the rarest of its kind Equus Zebrakatnapercus. It was believed this species was extinct along with the Quagga (Equus burchelli) but as you can see this is simply not true. Lucy: Now, one must be careful to approach as this species has been known to emit almost deafening cries if startled. Cries designed to bring its foraging parent into almost instantaneously at its side ready to attack... Me: Ahem! Uh, Lucy? Are you trying to - Lucy: Shhhh! You'll wake it up! Me:*eyebrows raised* I'll wake IT up? Wait! Did you just call the baby, IT? Lucy: Well, we were playing a game of pretend see... Me: Playing? Lucy: Yes. I'm pretending to be an explorer and she's a rare species of Zebra that I'm trying to learn more about. Me: O-kay... Lucy: See, she's not even complaining. Me: Uh... if she wakes... Lucy: I promise I won't wake her up Sensei. Me:*Sigh* Lucy: I'll be really careful... Me: Sweetie, I know you will but you know how she can get when she hasn't had her full nap... Lucy: Okay, Sensei. I'll stop. Can I just watch her for a bit though? I'll be really quiet. Me: Well, I have to put her back in her crib... Lucy: Oh, alright I guess. Well, bye Baby Zebra. Your Mom has to take you to bed now. Let's play again some other time, okay? Lucy: Sensei, you know, I think WE need a baby sister... Me: *shocked at the directness of Lucy's erm, request* Huh? Uh... I really need to get the baby to bed. Uh... Go play with Teru or something... Lucy: But... Wow, so its parent disappears instantaneously too... Lucy: Hmmm... I wonder if I shocked Sensei? But a baby sister would really be nice... THE END ---------- Note: No babies or DD's were harmed in the making of this photostory. battrastard Posted March 20, 2014 I can't say the same for its author though as it seems she has gone into shock at the suggestion of an MDD addition to the family... Muahaha! As a recent convert, I'll say that trying to resist an MDD is quite, erm, futile. Just give in, it'll save a lot of grief in the long run......... Thank you! I just couldn't resist doing the story with her and Lucy. Actually it was having Lucy around that started the whole thing. She's just the type to use her imagination for something like this. She's been clamoring for a little sister since my little one came. Aw, it's cute seeing Lucy try to bond with the little one. I agree resistance is futile, I'm probably going to end up with an MDD sooner or later but I'm trying to hold off for now. Great job on the posing of Lucy. She does look very lifelike. The other girl, too, althogh I'm sure you did as little posing as possible, there. Every DD household needs an MDD addition. Considering the great personalities all of your dolls tend to have, I would be really curious to see what you'd do with an MDD.
