Random shots of my girls and Marleigh

A week or so ago, Anne and my sister dropped by to try out some new clothing as well as let their girls visit with mine. So I broke out the camera and took some quick pics of them all. I didnt use any of my nice lights as I didnt have time to. So all these pics are just using the cameras built in flash. Sorry for the crappy shots.

 

Here's Marleigh in a new outfit Anne made.

 

 

She said she wanted a country look for this outfit.

 

 

Marleigh is wearing the wig we got from Littlebearries. I like her twintails.

 

 

Here are some cool shoes Anne got off ebay. They are Obitsu shoes. The ones on Marleigh fit very tightly without socks. The others fit on her perfectly even with socks. Both sets of shoes have magnets in them and they came with the metal base Marleigh and the Chihuahua are on.

 

 

And here is Marleigh with all my girls! It seems they have totally taken over my bedroom furniture.

A little after I took the photos above, my sister came by with Tsubaki! So she hung out a little with her cousins and sisters. Here she is with Mai.

 

 

Amy has finally decided to upgrade Tsubaki from the DDI body to the DDII. So now I need to find her one! Anyone want to help us upgrade? I'm trying not to get a new one from Volks due to price so any used ones would be fine as long as staining isn't a big issue on it.

 

 

The twins get to hang out again! Miyuki and Tsubaki were both painted by the same girl who did Manami. So they are really twins!

 

 

I made the same necklaces for them when they were first "born". So they always have a connection between them.

 

 

 

It was fun having everyone over to hang out for a bit. It's also cool to see that many DD's all in one spot! So many of them!!

Thanks! It was really nice to have them come over so everyone could hang out. I'm glad you like Marleighs new look. And the shirt Ryomou is wearing was the one I made at a sewing meetup. It's not perfect by any means but it seems to work well for the DDdy girls.

It's pretty nice to have family into them, that's for sure. At first my Mom and Dad were like "Umm... okaaayyy..." but now my Mom is really into finding stuff for them like accessories. And my sister is finally doing more with hers. She wants a regular DDII body with an M-bust. But it can have an S or L bust and I can swap those out easily due to having 2 spare M-busts here. Any info or help would be great Wayne!

 

I hope your wife does get a little more involved with the DD's. Those hats you showed me were a great step in the right direction. As long as she is having fun, that's what counts.

Thank you! Anne made that outfit and she said she may be able to make more. She just wants to make some adjustments to the shirt/blouse first.

 

The eyes are actually customs I made from a blank set a friend sent me. Another friend made Photoshopped eyes for me to cut out and put inside the frames of the eyes. They're pretty bright, that's for sure.

 

Her faceup was done by our own Littlebearries. She's very talented!

That's good news about the hats! I originally meant that having her do hats for DD's was a good way for her to get more involved with you and them. But I think you took it as me asking about them. Either way, that's great. I look forward to seeing what she's come up with!

It doesn't really matter to me which ones she wants, it's just i'd like to share the hobby with her. (although she does have a huge sailor moon doll collection already).

 

Her making the hats has gotten her into it a bit more. She asking questions about it and i show her a lot of other owners pics and what not. Hopefully it's only a matter of time. Next time i talk to her i'll have her take some pics of em and send them to me so i can email them to ya.

Yes, resin is not cheap. But Iplehouse makes some awesome stuff. And she has Sailor Moon dolls? Cool! You need to have her talk to Mitsuki on the forums, she has a TON of those!

I'm happy you saw this post. I was hoping you would just so you could see Marleigh having a good time. She seems to enjoy being with Anne. I know she was bragging to my girls about being a fashion model...

I was really happy to find I could get 3 of my girls to fit on the couch! But I can't do it with 3 DDdy girls, their butts are too big! It can only fit 3 regular DDII girls tightly or with 2 DDII girls and my DDS it's not too tight. That couch was the best 40 bucks I've spent! My girls love that thing.
