Volks USA web sale - what did you get?

DDS body and a DDS l-bust. Now I have one of each body, I'm super excited!

I didn't get any cancellation email, so I guess everything was in stock. Also, when I go to the order link from the email, everything is still in the list and there's a tracking number set for delivery on Wednesday, so looking good.

In the other hand I'm starting to worry because I been checking my order link from the email and there nothing on it. No tracking number yet or confirmation. The good thing it that I haven't got any cancelation email yet

I did get the confirmation email with the order number and the link to the order. What I meant to say i is that in the link they send you so you can check you order there nothing under order status or when is going to be ship

Same with me, it was less than 5 minutes after I finished my order when that email came thru. I just went and checked on the tracking and everything stayed the same so I got lucky and didn't lose anything. Maybe because I went after MDD hands and WS DD hands instead of the semi white and regular DD sized hands? I dunno.

 

I hope people who haven't gotten their confirmations yet do get them intact!

I did end up loosing the SWS gripping hands, and put SWS fist hands in their place, but my order's still on hold. (I *did* get an auto confirmation saying that I had gotten the gripping hands only to get a cancellation notice later, by the way, so I'd say don't hold your breath until you get your tracking number.)

 

No ill will towards them or rush on my part though. Just imagining what their email inboxes must look like right now makes me shudder, much less what kind of chaos the warehouse must be in.

I got my shipping notice as well - I hope everyone who is having issues gets them solved quickly! ^^

 

They still had some stuff left when I checked last night but it was just kinda random bits and bobs - they still have some painting supplies and things like that.

I got charged today but no shipping confirmation yet! It's still early though!! I can't wait to see what wigs I get!

It looks like Volks *tried* to charge my credit card, but my bank freaked out and thought it was a fraudulent charge. I just got off the phone with them after authorizing the charges, so hopefully everything will go through now.

 

So far my bank has panicked every time I've ordered more than $150 from VolksUSA or VolksJP.

Whew, my order got taken off hold and will be shipping out today! So excited!

Yeah, Cauldroness, my bank used to do that with Luts, which is understandable considering it's a random foreign company xD I suppose in the end I'd rather my bank freak out than not, considering it might save me grief later!

My order got shipped My only issue is that I got charged for one LP...then I asked and was able to add a second Lucky Pack to my order so my card got charged again for the two lucky packs. Volks said it might be an authorization hold, but if the first charge doesn't get credited to my account, then I need to call my bank and have it taken off.

 

But YAY! Wigssssss!

 

Also, Volks USA has the best customer service @_@

My order shipped out this evening! My first girl is on her way home and with great timing - her wig showed up today.

 

I had some issues with payment to Volks when I pre-ordered my Miku and had to get my bank involved. I hope all of you having issues with payments will have that resolved soon.

Oh! So to those who went to the physical store: I'm curious as to what DDs were in the orphanage!

I had no idea there was going to be a sale until the day before; I was too busy being irritated over the maintenance. xD;; Since it was such a small window of time for me, I didn't have any money to get anything. I thought their sale prices weren't bad though. Maybe would've been nice if they had been a wee bit less, but still not bad. I don't do very well with spontaneous buying anyway. Lol

 

I guess I'm glad to have been oblivious to the rush and mess of it. |D

A question for you more experienced folks. I was able to get in a large order on Monday, got the email confirmation and everything seemed on track. Knowing that they are closed on Tuesday and probably have lots of orders to fill from the sale I wasn't really expect a shipping notice until later than usual. Then a strange thing happened...somehow the order confirmation disappeared from my inbox. I don't think I deleted it. Is it possible that Volks retracted it or something? Would they let me know if my order was cancelled? Thanks for your help.

dramadollie, you can always email Volks and ask about your order, they are usually helpful and quick to respond.

It is not possible that volks retracted once an email is send there nothing the sender can do about it. Maybe you deleted by mistake it had happened to me many times. I will advice you to check your trash folder.

 

To answer the second question Volks would send you a cancelation email if they decide to cancel your order.

I received mine today as well! The package wasn't packed as sturdy as i would like (considering the shipping fee i want more bubble wrap >.>). But nothing got damaged so i'm happy!
