Volks USA web sale - what did you get?

Add me and Becca to the list of package arrivals today. Both of them arrived at my place in good order. As soon as I got the WS hands out, Sprout grabbed them and began using them immediately. She got the "paper" flat hands and the pointer hands.... all she's been doing is giving herself high fives and pointing at me every 5 minutes saying "FETCH!"

Mine came as well! ^^ I asked them to give me DD care sheets also and they included them - I wasn't sure if they had the time or not but I'm glad they did. I wanted some to keep around as a quick reference just in case. c:

I'd made two orders, so one arrived today and the other one is slated for delivery next week.

 

LOL, one of the things I got was a Large SWS bust for Mercy. I put it on her and I was like, okay, this is a bit larger. My husband told me in no uncertain terms that the L bust was much larger and then admitted that he kinda liked my Dollfie Dreams after all and might want one of his own.

 

Amazing. All it took was a larger bust piece!

Oh! So to those who went to the physical store: I'm curious as to what DDs were in the orphanage!

The DDs they had in the Dollfie Orphanage were all their Standard Display Models. I adopted DD Aoi Ver. 1 for $100. She came with her original eyes in her, Cork Brown Shaggy Wig, Shirt & Skirt from the Sweet Lacy Shawl Set, a coat with fur trim around the collar, & brown loafers. She's in good condition with minor staining and her feet don't turn as easily as my other girls. But other than those little things she's perfect~

While I was at the store I also ended up getting one of the black modern sofas for $99 instead of it's retail price of $198. And the last items I picked up were the 2 pairs of DD hands I didn't have yet which were the Sword Gripping hands & the Kira Idol hands The next day I ended up buying a waist stand with metal base, a wig for a friend, and a bunch of clothes & items for Tsukiko from a friend later that day after dinner ^^;;; So basically I spent way too much money, but had a ton of fun with everyone

I'm in order limbo right now. Got an email combining my orders on Monday, replied that I was good with the new order. I have not heard anything yet. Resent my reply yesterday just in case first did not go through. I do have an order sheet but there is no update on tracking or anything.

 

With the flood of orders VolksUSA probably experienced its going to take a little while to process all that! Will sit back and wait, I am in no rush for these items. I still am unsure if my MDDIII body will actually be there when they plan to ship, it seemed like such a good deal, maybe too good to be actually true! Looking forward to whatever pieces of furniture I end up with though! My girls are sick of sitting on a book shelf!

Got my wig LPs and EVERYONE who purchased the lucky packs got the exact same god awful MSD wig. I also only received one lucky pack. Needless to say an email was sent for a refund on the missing two wigs that I do not want because why would I want two more of the same MSD wigs!

 

Royal ticked off right now. I feel very deceived as they said it was an assortment of SD/DD/MSD wigs...

 

I would rather just have the charge reversed and send these wigs back.

My order was waiting on my doorstep when I arrived home late today. I got some bust parts; one each of the small for V2 & V3 DD, and one large V3 DD which I'll use to modify my Miko as some others here have done. Also picked up an internal upper frame in SW as a replacement for an older floppy neck V2. The SW doesn't exactly color match, but it won't be seen anyway. The smaller busts were needed for some of the clothing items which definitely looked stressed even with the M busts. I really would have liked to have gotten Aoi, but other unexpected expenditures for health & car repairs hammered the funds, so once again had to postpone. Still, it was nice to get these DD parts at reduced prices!

Agatha's new head and Miku's fist hands came in today! (Lost the pointing hands, though Volks didn't say so till Thursday. I imagine they're running around like headless chickens.) UPS guy was about to leave right as I came home from my root canal--exactly what I needed to put a half-numbed smile on my face! Not sure when I'll get to putting a faceup on the new head, since priority right now is kind of going to the Mondo Fury, a massive on-again off-again project I've had going for over a year. :/ Still, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on that one, so hopefully I can get it done before Phoenix ComiCon like I hope and move on to Agatha 3.0 in May or June.

 

I got my DDH06 head and brushes last week but I finally got around to actually painting her today. I named her Nana :3

Alright! Got an update with tracking today! Looks like I got all my items according to the shipping statement. Can't wait for them to arrive!

After a couple of issues with items and miscommunication with Volks, my items are out for delivery today finally. Today I will be welcoming home my third DD, a white skin, large chested, DDH-07. I also purchased a large shapely bust for my DDS and some casual clothing for my MDD and a few sets of hands for all. Yippee! I will post pics when I get her face up completed. I'm very excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit late but I got a DDS base body, a pair of eyes, and a DDS small bust last Monday.

I also tried getting another pair of hands but they sold out as I was entering my payment info >_<

oh well~
