Suiseiseki

I am getting her together now and waiting for her outfit to arrive. I couldn't wait to at least show the eyes I had help with from a friend designing and Ersa Flora making. I went with the 2013 version of Suiseiseki's eyes and think we captured it quite well. I love how the eyes pick up that glowing feel at many angles of light. It was hard to get a few good shots and capture it in a way I feel Suiseiseki would be happy with.

Here's a quick picture of the dress we received from Usaii recently.

 

 

Our character dress should be arriving sometime today...we hope.

Today our long awaited package arrived and I must say I couldn't make it to the door fast enough to sign for it before Suiseiseki snagged the package from the mailman.

 

Sorry for the poor pics, I'm not a photographer and I'm bad with storytime so bare with me

 

First off I was told to take this picture first before we started the redressing phase.

Suiseiseki: Make sure you fit us in here and don't forget to put fresh batteries in it this time desu.

Me: Good idea, batteries get dead fast in this camera. Maybe we have ghosts eating them up.

S: No they die because at night we take pictures of you drooling and post them on the internet.

M:

 

 

We also had a moment where Suiseishinki popped in for her master. Needless to say I think she programmed her ai like this so we had more strawberries present at home.

 

 

Here before I had a chance to help her open the package Suiseiseki had already jumped into her summer dress that we are going to use for the "safety under liner dress".

 

 

Suiseiseki: Now we can add my headress desu.

Me: Sorry not quite yet we need to go check to see if your dress is done air drying.

S: At least you're more efficient with getting the laundry done then jun ever was desu.

M:Thanks...I think.

 

 

After some time passage and getting this very beautifully detailed outfit on we have Suiseiseki in full garb.

S: Not quite desu. I still need some nice white socks and shoes desu! If you forget them you will feel my wrath chibi human!

M: I'm far from a chibi silly head. No I won't forget to track you some nice stain free socks/shoes. They are next on my list and maybe even another hairdo for you. How do you feel about a mohawk?

S: I dare you to try it *throws salad mix*.

M:I kid, how about some long twin tails or maybe slightly shorter hair for those hot summer days?

S: We shall see desu. Now let's get to the rest of this before my legs wear out.

 

M: Okay, turn around and show us the detail of the lace on the rear of your dress.

S: You cut the image too short and missed the bottom of the lace too! Someone worked really hard to make this and you cut off the lower part desu. Oh whatever will we do?

M: No worries, I doubt anyone wanted to see my arm in the photo anyway.

S: My legs are tired from all of this standing, I can't believe most of these pictures turned out so bad. Well at least you got a few decent pictures desu.

M: Sorry, I will work on being a better photographer...after i win the lottery Go ahead and sit.

 

 

M: Here we have a nice spread of the green sea...er I mean this massive green dress.

S:That's it desu, time to resummon my minion

M: Alrighty that's enough picture spam for now til I get better at this. Wave bye girls

Thanks, she is definitely happier then when she first arrived. The craftsmanship on the dress is really great, it made that long wait for it to be tailored to fit worth it.

Awww, she looks so happy with her outfit! It turned out to be really nice looking! Suiseiseki is my favorite character from Rozen Maiden so seeing one done in DD form that looks this nice is really awesome. Thanks for sharing these pics with us! Indeed, I am very impressed by the dress. I like it much more then the original SD dress design and the color definitely matches her character better.

She definitely was more pleased in her full clothing, though she is still asking me when I will get her some shoes to match. Thanks, yes the dress turned out very great it was well worth the wait for it to be tailored to fit her. I was expecting to get scolded again for the wait, but she simply started tearing open the plastic and trying to throw it on before I hand washed and dried it. We were pleased with how well it was sewn, even the front black vest laces up through the loops with the ribbon(which i hid the bow cause it didn't turn out perfect lol). I'm still hoping to complete her with a custom key and watering can/artificial spirit(Sui Dream) and possibly changing her hair to maybe a different style ....maybe brown twin tails(though not her hair style, I am curious how well/bad it would look with her headdress). I still want to make her sister Souseiseki, though finding her outfit custom tailored with hat will be more of a pickle. I may come up with a hybrid outfit if that day arrives in the far off future. I do wish the camera wouldn't make her eyes look all crazy, lighting in here + flash = not so great. In person they look like the 2013 anime version eyes. We added some deepness/soullessness to them to make the pupils more green and red then black, which causes this odd turn out when the light picks it up
