Angell-Studio jumps on the anime-style bandwagon

I think I heard they were considering doing this at some point or another, but I guess they did.

Personally, she's freakin' adorable and the fact she's 1/6 makes her ever cuter imo.

 

As I'm still on a all boy high I'll be passing her up for now, but her face is so cute that I may have to consider her in the future.

Really hoping she will be available as a basic at a reasonable price. I think she's freaking adorable and a great size but I have no desire for midriff baring babies, so the fullset would be a waste for me. Will def keep an eye on her!

I just saw her and she looks ADORABLE!! I love the fact that she is a tiny.

 

Gotta admit that I'm tempted with the 25% discount on her. Makes it hard to resist her. Tho considering she is the first of 12, I might wait to see what else Angell-Studio comes up.

I'm kinda torn though! On one hand, I think she's utterly adorable, but on the other, I tried resin-anime-style with a Luts Kid Delf and it just didn't work, but maybe it just might if she's a tiny! XD

 

I'm excited to see what else they come up with though!

She's not that tiny though! She's 31cm... >_<;; She's about 10cm shorter than an MDD and about 5cm taller than a yo-SD.

Eh, that's not too bad. I think she should still fit most Tiny sized clothing as one of my friends have a AS tiny and she's been wearing a Volks outfit? So I guess it is all in the legs? Just means be careful with pants maybe?

Usually when we say tiny, we mean Pukifee sized (Lati Yellow / T-line, 16-19cm, and shorter) XD;

DoA has only 3 categories so 35cm and under are considered "tiny" though, so I guess I have to get used to calling 35cm and lower tiny too @_@;

Tiny has always referred to the entire scaled area of 1/6 (and whatever scale Pukis are though most people just say puki for them). At least it has always been for me and anyone I've known (and I've chilled with DoA mods/virtues so I hope they know what they are talking about XD). Cause, I mean, when talking about an entire smaller doll range it is easier to sum it all up in one word, yeah? (Like SD---that's from the lower 50cm scale to a little over 65cm) Of course they are different, but still definitely classify as a Tiny. She doesn't reach the 40~47cm area that would push her into the MSD status after all.

 

I also prefer to say Tiny, because even though I realize we use Volks terms for the other two size regions (MSD/SD) I actually like not calling everything "YoSD."

I think she'd be about the same size as a Minourworld/BlueFairy Junior, Iplehouse KID, Dollmore Narsha & SQLabs KSGL so she's not alone in her size!

 

I really want that sheep too! T__T I hope they'll consider selling them as an 'animal accessory' XD

She's absolutely adorable! Thankfully 1/6 dolls aren't really my cup of tea so I'm safe.

I hope they do more sculpts in this style in other sizes. It's possible since they are doing a zodiac theme...definitely will be watching them for what they do in the future! I've always liked their dolls, too. ^^

He is quite adorable tho I prefer Ayaliz. Whilst I like smiling dolls, I'm not a fan of big-grin dolls.

 

Still, I'm very curious to see what else Angell Studios will come up with. Can't wait to see what my sign (Scorpio) will look like.

I was really impressed with Ayaliz so much that I ordered her with the anime faceup. She was just too cute to pass up! I just paid off my layaway last week so hopefully within the next month I should receive her.

I find them really cute, the little band-aids that come with the new boy are squee worthy!!!

My fullset Ayaliz should be here any day now... (damn you customs!) I'll try to get a pic up when she arrives. I also have a fullset Minotaur on order... I am trying to get all 12 so I get the free doll. >.<;;

Did she arrive yet? I'd love to see some owner pics of Ayaliz.

 

Also, very curious at what the next Zodiac sign will look like. I'm assuming Angell Studio will shown him/her any day now.

Geminis looks really cute! I think they should have used thicker eyelashes for Geminy, along with bigger irises for the eyes.

I received my ayaliz a couple of days ago.

They sent me a broken wing with magnet that rejects the body , eyes that are different colors from each other. The sheep horn magnet fell off even before I touch it. So they're sending me the correct ones , but haven't receive it yet.

 

One is blue-ish and the other is very red pink.

She is cute though, right?

The outfit is nicely done as well.

Oh, wow, these are just precious! I'm so glad I was poking around the board, I might never have heard of them otherwise. Now to just heal my wallet from the Soom limiteds I just bought long enough to pick one up... but isn't money usually the limiting factor in hoarding dolls?
