The Many Looks of Erica Fontaine (update pg 2)

Erica arrived a couple of weeks ago, but I was totally unable to bond with her default look. She was just so... so... so bland! So I thought I'd try a couple of new looks for her, to see if we could bond.

Yes, these eyes have little white hearts in them! So cuuute!

I was originally planning on naming her Cherrington (Cherry), but I think she's actually going to be Remington (Rem).

 

I was surprised with how versatile Erica's mold is! She's got such a sweet face. What do you think?

She's really pretty! I did not really like Erica when I first saw her, I also thought she looked kind of bland... But I like the looks you chose for her, even the ones you said were your least favorite.

 

What is the wig in the look you chose as your favorite? I really love how it's cut, it's very pretty and a lot like my hair is right now. ^_^

Thank you! I think it's her default eyes... The iris is tall and skinny, and seems almost too narrow for her round eyes. It's weird because the eyes themselves are really pretty, they're just clearly not the right shape for her face.

 

The pink wig is a Leeke W124 in Royal Candy. Leeke actually considers it to be a "boy" wig or, at least, they only show it on boy dolls. But it looks really gorgeous on girls! The layers are perfect for framing the face.

The blond / violet look was my 2nd favorite, I'm super going to try those eyes in some of my other girls and see if there isn't someone that they're perfect in. I think I need someone with wider eyes since they're so round.

You're welcome! I've notice that my Leeke wigs tend to vary in length, especially if they're ordered at different times. I have one LR-092, which is supposed to be a short bob, that is almost as long as my LR-102. My other LR-092 is a short bob like it should be.

Looking back at that photo, I think it's a good combination, but I like those eyes so much better in Haven, my Rin, I just can't help but compare Erica and Rin, and Rin wins. Meanwhile no one else I own looks as great in the brown eyes as Erica does.

I think a lot of people did the exact same thing -- maybe I should make it my mission to inspire Erica love and encourage as many people as possible to give her a second consideration. I hope you'll be able to welcome an Erica into your family. At least she's not very expensive right now!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm also a big fan of the green eyes, they're super gorgeous and when they catch the light just right they seem to glow. Unfortunately, they have a huuuuge base, and they actually bump against each other when I put them in Erica's head, which means I had to spend a lot of time un-crossing her eyes. The brown pair doesn't have that problem, thankfully. But hopefully I'll find someone with a little wider eyes for the green pair.

I was also very surprised with the brown eyes. I was convinced the bland-ness came from the color, but nope! The problem is entirely with the shape, not the color.

 

For anyone curious, here are the eye / wig combos:

1st - Monique wig + Twin Snow eyes

2nd - Monique wig + San Heart eyes

3rd - Unknown wig + San Heart eyes

4th - Kaleido wig + Ronronshuka eyes

5th - Leeke wig + Hisyo-Hisyo eyes

 

I think Ronronshuka eyes are available from various sources, including Y!J.

I seriously love how versatile Erica Fontaine is. I was so sure that I'd never like anything better than the brown eyes, but these blue ones are pretty fantastic!

Thank you! I was too lazy to change her clothes, so I actually kidnapped Salem's (Rise's) entire body and just popped Rem's head on. So really Salem is the stylish one, sort of...
