chibinezumi Posted April 1, 2014 So in case you noticed the changed prices on VolksJP, today the Japanese consumption tax rose from 5% to 8%. While VolksJP was down for maintenance over the last day, all prices have risen on DD items and most goods. Just FYI for those who were unaware. Check out that new price on Illya, Ouch. Volks stores do do duty free for dollfie dream items, my husband purchased a mini dollfie dream body, head and hands in Akihabara and I have also purchased a body from the Osaka branch and got duty free. You do have to ask for duty free when you pay and they will ask to see your passport and put a slip in it. They don't do duty free for any dollfie dream goods that are not volks branded such as the Little Wonders costumes they stock, these you still have to pay full price for.
