Hello~

 

I've been into resin dolls for almost 6 years now, but I got my first DD about a week ago!

 

I originally didn't like them but I made a friend at an anime con a year ago who had some cute girls and they got me more interested. After looking more up, I knew I was going to get one sooner or later!

 

When VolksUSA had their sale, it was the perfect chance, so I jumped on it!

She's a custom DDH-06 on a DDS body with the small bust but she doesn't have a name yet~

 

She's so much lighter and more fun to pose than resin dolls, so I can really see myself getting more than a few more :3

 

I'm also a cosplayer and a beginning lolita. It's hard to have so many expensive hobbies at once so most but dolls are my top priority at the moment~

^^ Congrats on receiving your first DD~ Initially, I also didn't really like them but seeing so many beautiful customized girls changed my mind.

 

Haha oh man, I'm in a similar situation... I used to cosplay often, but kind of lost interest and started getting more into BJDs again :'D I love looking at lolita fashion, do you have a favourite brand/store?

Yeah, I think when I first saw them and wrote them off, it was when then default faceups weren't so good. Volks has come a long way since then and now I see all the talented customizers too!

 

I have an AATP JSK but my favorite brand is Moitie. I just love the look of white gothic, it's so dark but pure at the same time, if that makes any sense. I can't afford it and dolls though haha -3-;;

Hello from a fellow DD collector and lolita wearer in WA! ^^

 

There are a few of us in the Redmond~Bellevue area. I'm just getting back into lolita (three dresses in the past two weeks ack), and attempting cosplay with a local friend. Although at Sakura-Con I'll just be in lolita since Angelic Pretty will be there.

Unfortunately, I live on the less populated side of Washington, and there are no other DD owners over here as far as I know! Only one of my resin BJD friends even has interest in them.

 

Oh wow that's a lot of in a short period of time! Last time AP was there, I was in cosplay and they were rather rude to me, so I'm not going to bother with an extra outfit for the con. I'm not very good at coording yet anyway haha

I'll be cosplaying a couple touhous and Anzu from im@s at Sakuracon this year. I hope to see you there!

White gothic is just all the gothic lolita motifs but in white. Some of the moitie dresses come in white colorways, like silent moon, divine cross, and ruins cathedral.

I have 9 resin dolls right now and my favorites are my Unoa Lusis, Bluefairy Sarang, and Bluefairy Hana.
