"SFD": seamless figure dolls. Labeled as "dollfie" on ebay..

Has anyone seen these "SFD" dolls? I was searching around Ebay yesterday for some dollfies, and I came across the seller "jeeryama"

I can't post links, so please look up item #231228737926 or the name "Kui Evokedoll 1/3 girl SUPER DOLLFIE SD size soft body SFD 62cm" on ebay

It clearly isn't a dollfie, despite being titled as one. I don't know if they are actually trying to claim it as a dollfie, or if they are simply using the word to come up in more searches (I would assume the latter) but it certainly seems designed for DD heads!

I think it's very interesting, but the website and video they provided aren't working, so I am curious as to how flexible this doll is. Also, what would happen if the part of the skeleton broke? If something inside broke, I assume your only choice would be to buy a new doll, or dissect the poor thing DX but then stitching it back together would be another issue on it's own...

What do you all think? :o

As you guess, this isn't a Volks product. Just as Artetokio's doll bodies, these are custom made soft bodies that don't present visible joints.

They are pretty, but very hard to keep (the material is quite oily and soft, and gets dirty and stained super easily), and it's extremely fragile. In fact it often happens that inner skeleton brokes (especially the fingers), and you can't do anything.

I hope I was of some help!

Ebay sellers tend to list common BJD terms so the ads will come up in related searches. Also note it says "SD size" so it's not actually claiming to be a Volks SD (based on what you posted).
