sillypeach Posted May 15, 2014 Hello everyone! My name is Sappho, and I live with my parents in Surrey, England. I've been collecting resin 1/3 bjds since 2005, and I have about 13 dolls, many from Volk's 'Super Dollfie' line. To be honest, I don't yet own a Dollfie Dream and don't plan to get one. I joined this forum as i'm soon to receive my first vinyl doll, a Visuadoll Takeshi Oda, on the 65cm Obitsu body. I just need to wait for Mandarake to ship him! I was a bit squeamish about adding a vinyl doll to my collection, especially as i've heard the 65cm obitsu body is quite delicate, but Takeshi was so handsome I couldn't resist him any longer. Aesthetically, I think he has more in common with resin dolls then Dollfie Dream, but, engineering whys they are almost identical! This forum seems to be a great resource on how to care for vinyl dolls, so i'm really looking forward to being a member here. Currently i'm debating if I should get Takeshi a 'body stocking' to prevent staining. Since he is an atypical size and shape, I think I will have to have one custom made. Of course, even though I don't plan to own a Dollfie Dream girl, I do love looking at them, so I will be hanging around the gallery and commenting on lots of photos. Other then dolls, I enjoy film and cinema, Anime/manga, walking in the English countryside and looking after my two dogs, Galahad and Lancelot.
