Shizuka and Utena ~DDdy and DDIII Customs~

Since my birthday is upcoming and I'll have funds for DD heads and customization supplies, I figured I should make a thread for my two custom ideas.

Nanami Shizuka {七海静花} - A DDH-03 with red eyes and a light blue wig, face-up using the Lolita ZM pastel set. Her character is shy and soft-spoken, a type one Ojou. She plays the Violin and is inspired by Mizuno Ami and Kaioh Michiru. She'll have Tareme and real eyelashes. DDdy Body.

 

Tomoe Utena {土萠ウテナ} - A DDH-02 with blue eyes and a pink wig, face-up using the Base Pastels. Her character is more outgoing and a Bokukko. She's a dancer and martial artist inspired by Ten'oh Haruka and Tenjou Utena. She is a fencer. Her eyes will be more of a Tsurime style with down-angled eyebrows. DDIII Body.

 

Utena is Shizuka's girlfriend. They're both involved in the School Council, which is primarily funded by the Nanami family.

I plan on getting Shizuka and Utena Revolutionary Girl Utena cosplays. Shizuka as Anthy and Utena as her namesake.

I want my Utena to have eyes like Tenjou-san and I've got it narrowed down to two colors.

Which do you think will fit her better?

I like the ones on the left! Do you have wigs picked out for both of them yet? ^^

Oh, they're both lovely! I haven't heard of the pink wig's maker before, though. Still, it's cheap enough that it's worth a shot.

 

If you're willing to go through a proxy, Arcana has up some lovely green eyes in a set right now. You could likely make some of the money back by selling the other pairs.

Yeah, the pink wig is cheap AND in the US. I won't have to wait long to get it.

I used Pupapa base eyes to make an Utena-style eye, photo here:

But the lighter blue Volks eyes should work well too.

That pink wig looks perfect, you'll have to report on the quality 'cause the price is good

I might get one for my 3rd (2nd now) musume too. She currently has a blue wig.

Halcyon, I know, the blue wig is so pretty~ I hope you do get one for your musume! You should find Euphie a pink wig like Euphemia Li Britannia!
